The realme 14 Pro makes its strongest case with a large battery, a bright 120Hz OLED display and unusually strong dust- and water-resistance ratings. Its main compromise is camera versatility: the standard 14 Pro has a stabilized main camera but no ultra-wide. Whether it is a good buy depends on your local price and the exact regional configuration, which can differ in connectivity and box contents.
realme 14 Pro: key specifications

What stands out in everyday use?
Battery capacity is a clear strength
The 6000mAh typical-capacity battery is one of the phone’s most persuasive features. In 91mobiles’ January 2025 review, battery backup was a positive, and MySmartPrice’s hands-on review also praised battery life. Those are reviewer findings, not a promise of a fixed number of hours: actual endurance depends on brightness, signal strength, apps and other usage.

Charging is rated at 45W SUPERVOOC. That is the listed charging specification, not evidence of a particular time-to-full result. Digital Citizen considered charging speed a compromise compared with some predecessors, so buyers who prioritize quick top-ups should weigh that trade-off against the battery’s capacity.
The display is another major draw
On the India model, the OLED panel has a 2392 × 1080 resolution and supports refresh rates up to 120Hz. realme lists 800 nits typical brightness and a 1400-nit global maximum. These figures make the screen a headline specification, while 91mobiles and MySmartPrice reviewers both identified the display as a strength. Brightness figures are manufacturer ratings, not a guarantee of visibility in every lighting condition.

Performance and build
The India variant uses the Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset. 91mobiles rated performance 7.7/10 in its review, but that is one publication’s assessment rather than a benchmark result applicable to every workload. The phone’s relatively slim, light build and durability ratings also contribute to its appeal; the India-listed finishes weigh about 179g or 181.5g.

A stabilized main camera, but no ultra-wide
The standard realme 14 Pro has a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), alongside a monochrome camera. The missing ultra-wide is the most consequential hardware omission: you cannot switch to a dedicated ultra-wide lens for broader landscapes or cramped interiors. Do not confuse this model with the realme 14 Pro+, which is a different phone with different camera hardware.

Reviewers found image-processing and software concerns
91mobiles rated the camera 7.0/10 and called out the lack of an ultra-wide camera. MySmartPrice identified portrait edge detection as an area to improve. Digital Citizen also described the camera system as a compromise. These are reviewer judgments from launch-period coverage, not a guarantee of how every scene or software version will perform.
Durability: strong ratings, not waterproofing
realme says the device meets IP66, IP68 and IP69 test levels, and describes it as water- and dust-resistant under normal usage conditions. Its published IP68 conditions specify clear, still water up to 1.5m for 30 minutes. That lab condition is not permission to take the phone swimming or treat it as waterproof.

The manufacturer warns that resistance may diminish over time, advises against exposure to seawater, chlorinated water and other liquids, and says liquid damage caused by improper use is not covered by warranty. Read the realme Global product page for the full qualifications.

Software and package contents
Expect bundled apps
Pre-installed apps were a concern in both 91mobiles’ and MySmartPrice’s reviews; Digital Citizen also noted bundled apps. The extent to which these affect your experience depends on the software and region. The global product page describes Android 15, but that does not establish the current software version, update schedule or support period for every market.
Check whether the box includes a charger
realme’s India specification page lists a 45W adapter in the package contents. Digital Citizen reports that some European-region packages do not include a charger. Confirm the contents for the exact local listing before buying, rather than assuming the India package applies in your region. The India specifications, including the adapter listing, are on realme India’s product page.
Pros and cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| 6000mAh typical battery capacity; reviewers praised battery backup | 45W charging may feel modest if fast charging is a priority |
| Bright, high-refresh OLED display; reviewers praised the screen | No dedicated ultra-wide rear camera |
| IP66, IP68 and IP69 test-level ratings, subject to realme’s limitations | Reviewers flagged portrait edge detection and bundled apps |
| Relatively light build for a phone with a large battery | Regional variants and package contents differ |
Should you buy the realme 14 Pro?
It makes sense if
- You value battery capacity and a bright, smooth OLED display more than camera flexibility.
- You want strong dust- and water-resistance ratings, while understanding their limits.
- The specific regional configuration and package contents suit your needs at the price offered locally.
Look elsewhere if
- You regularly use an ultra-wide camera for group shots, architecture or landscapes.
- You need NFC: the India model’s specification page says it is absent, and regional connectivity must be checked separately.
- You expect fast charging or a charger in the box regardless of market.
In its review published on 17 January 2025 and updated on 23 January, 91mobiles gave the phone 7.7/10 overall, with 8.0 for design and display, 7.0 for software and camera, 7.7 for performance, and 7.9 for battery. Its reviewer Abhik Sengupta wrote that the phone “won’t disappoint if looks, durability, performance, and battery matter to you,” while pointing to the missing ultra-wide camera as a notable qualification. MySmartPrice’s 17 January 2025 hands-on review reported India launch prices of ₹24,999 for 8GB/128GB and ₹26,999 for 8GB/256GB; those are historical launch prices, not current quotations. Current street prices, stock and discounts are not established here, so judge the phone against the offer in your market rather than those launch figures.
