The realme 14 Pro+ brings the bigger upgrades: a larger, sharper display, a newer processor, a higher-capacity battery and stronger stated water-and-dust protection. The realme 13 Pro+ is lighter, while both phones have 50MP periscope cameras and 80W charging. The available India price snapshots are from different dates, so they do not establish a trustworthy current price gap.

What changed with the 14 Pro+?
A larger, higher-resolution screen
The 14 Pro+ moves from the 13 Pro+’s 6.7-inch FHD+ panel to a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display. Both advertise a maximum 120Hz refresh rate. The newer model is the more compelling choice if screen size and resolution matter most; the 13 Pro+ has the smaller display.
A newer processor generation
The Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 replaces the 7s Gen 2. That is a generational change on paper, but the cited specifications do not establish a particular real-world speed improvement or guarantee that every app or game will run better.

More battery capacity, the same charging rating
The 14 Pro+ lists 6,000mAh typical capacity, versus 5,200mAh typical for the 13 Pro+. Both list 80W SUPERVOOC charging. The capacity increase does not by itself prove longer everyday battery life; that depends on use and would require comparable independent endurance testing.
Different camera sensors, a similar camera layout
Each phone has a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP 3x periscope camera with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide. The sensor names differ, and realme advertises features such as MagicGlow flash on the 14 Pro+; its front camera page also lists eye-tracking autofocus and 4K selfie video. These specifications alone do not demonstrate that one phone takes better photos. Look for comparable image samples and testing if camera quality is your deciding factor.

Stronger stated water-and-dust protection
The 13 Pro+ is rated IP65. realme describes it as splash-proof and dust-resistant under normal use, says the rating is based on laboratory testing, and advises against beach or pool use. For the 14 Pro+, realme India lists IP66, IP68 and IP69 tests, while qualifying resistance as applying under normal usage conditions and controlled test standards. Neither set of claims means a phone is waterproof in every situation; follow the manufacturer’s conditions and avoid treating an IP rating as permission for unrestricted water exposure.

How much do the phones cost in India?
The available India listings are historical snapshots, not a same-day comparison. Gadgets 360 reported a starting listing of ₹34,999 for the 13 Pro+ on 2026-08-20, with some lower-variant listings marked out of stock. Its 2026-10-07 snapshot put the 14 Pro+ at ₹25,999 starting on Flipkart. The dates are 48 days apart, and the offers may refer to different storage variants, sellers or stock conditions, so subtracting the figures would not give a reliable saving.
