The Razer Kishi V3 is currently listed at $69.99, down from its $99.99 recommended retail price. The October 15, 2026 report from Android Authority describes the cut as a 30% discount. At that price, the full-size USB-C controller is a stronger proposition for phone owners who want low-latency controls for native games, cloud gaming or remote play—but you should verify the live listing and your phone’s fit before ordering.
What the $69.99 deal includes
The Kishi V3 is a wired mobile gamepad: it plugs directly into a phone’s USB-C port rather than pairing over Bluetooth. That connection avoids wireless pairing and battery-management steps and is generally better suited to latency-sensitive play. Razer also specifies pass-through USB-C charging, so you can charge the phone while the controller is attached.

Razer positions the Kishi V3 as a full-sized controller rather than a compact clip-on pad. Its feature set includes TMR thumbsticks, ergonomic grips and dual rear buttons with mouse-click actuation. Those back buttons can be useful for actions that are awkward to reach with the standard face buttons, particularly in shooters, action games and remote-play sessions.
#1 Best Overall
- FULL SIZED CONTROLLER FORM FACTOR — Console performance meets mobile convenience for iPhone* and Android; play for extended periods in complete comfort and control with larger ergonomic handles that feel more natural to hold than standard mobile controllers (*iPhone 15 series and up)
- FULL SIZED TMR THUMBSTICKS — Perfect your aim with high-precision, anti-drift thumbsticks that are superior to Hall Effect designs
- DUAL MOUSE CLICK BACK BUTTONS — Enjoy the same ultra-responsive actuation found in our top gaming mice with 2 back buttons built into the controller’s ergonomic handles
- UNPARALLELED CASE COMPATIBILITY — Fits many popular phone cases thanks to an innovative USB C ‘island’ design and thicker depth clearance than other controllers
- POWERED BY THE RAZER NEXUS GAME LAUNCHER — Launch games, customize controls, record and share gameplay, and keep the controller updated with a free* app that can be brought up at the touch of a dedicated button. (*Razer Nexus does not require a fee/subscription, however some apps within Razer Nexus do)
The controller also includes a 3.5 mm audio and microphone port and a secondary USB-C port. The latter supports pass-through charging and, with the appropriate cable, wired connection to a Windows PC.
| Feature | What it means for a buyer |
|---|---|
| USB-C direct connection | Lower setup friction than Bluetooth and no controller battery to pair or recharge. |
| TMR thumbsticks | Hall-effect-style magnetic sensing intended to reduce the mechanical wear associated with conventional potentiometer sticks; Razer lists the technology, but the supplied product information does not establish a measured durability figure. |
| Dual rear buttons | Extra assignable inputs for games that support them or for controller-mapping software. |
| Pass-through USB-C charging | Lets the phone receive power while the Kishi is connected. |
| 3.5 mm audio and microphone | Allows compatible wired headsets without occupying the phone’s USB-C port. |
| Full-size grips | More conventional hand positioning than ultra-compact mobile pads, though it also means a larger accessory to carry. |
Phone, tablet and PC compatibility
Razer’s support documentation lists Android 14 or later and iOS 18 for supported mobile use. Examples named by Razer include Samsung Galaxy S24-series phones, Google Pixel 6, 7 and 8 phones, and iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 models. Razer also lists Windows 11 support over USB-C.

Those examples are not a substitute for checking your exact model. USB-C port placement, dimensions and operating-system version all affect whether the controller works correctly. Case compatibility varies by the specific phone-and-case combination: a thick or unusually shaped case may prevent the connector or side grips from seating fully. Remove the case if necessary, or confirm that your case dimensions are supported before buying.

Compatibility checklist
- Confirm the phone runs Android 14 or newer or iOS 18, as applicable.
- Check that the handset has a compatible USB-C port and is one of the models supported by Razer.
- Measure or verify the phone with its case installed; case fit is not universal.
- For Windows 11 play, plan to supply a compatible USB-C cable.
How to set it up
- Update the phone to a supported operating-system version and close any game that is already running.
- Open the Kishi’s grips, seat the phone so the USB-C connector aligns with the handset port, and check that the case is not blocking the connection.
- Launch a controller-compatible game or service. Because the link is wired, there is no Bluetooth pairing step.
- Connect a charger to the Kishi’s pass-through USB-C port if you need to play while charging.
- For PC use, connect the controller’s secondary USB-C port to a Windows 11 computer with a compatible USB-C cable. Razer says that cable is required and sold separately.
Cloud gaming and remote play
Razer says the Kishi V3 works with mobile games and major streaming or remote-play services, including Xbox Cloud Gaming, NVIDIA GeForce Now, Steam Link and Razer PC Remote Play. A wired controller can be advantageous when a Bluetooth link would add pairing friction or competing wireless traffic. It does not, however, improve an unstable internet connection: cloud-streaming responsiveness still depends on network latency, bandwidth and the host system.

Is it worth buying at $69.99?
At the reported sale price, the Kishi V3 makes the most sense for players who value full-size ergonomics, rear buttons, wired responsiveness and the ability to charge while playing. It is especially compelling if you use cloud gaming or remote play and already own a supported USB-C phone.
A Bluetooth controller remains more flexible if you regularly switch between phones, tablets, televisions or PCs, or if you need the handset free of a physical connector. The Kishi also requires an extra cable for wired Windows play, and case fit must be checked rather than assumed. Buyers who do not need rear buttons, a headphone jack or pass-through charging may find a simpler controller sufficient, but those trade-offs should be weighed against the current $30 reduction from recommended retail pricing.
