The Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro is a wireless gaming mouse for players who want a very light, right-handed ergonomic shape. Razer’s current specifications list a 30,000 DPI sensor and up to 90 hours of battery life at its default 1,000 Hz polling rate. The main buying question is fit: its contour is aimed at a different feel from the symmetrical Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT, and neither shape is universally better. The optional 8,000 Hz upgrade also cuts Razer’s advertised battery life to up to 17 hours. Razer product details · Razer specifications
What the DeathAdder V3 Pro is
The DeathAdder V3 Pro is a wireless, right-handed ergonomic gaming mouse. Its shape is the defining choice: it is designed for a palm to rest naturally around the shell, rather than offering the neutral, symmetrical profile of an ambidextrous-style mouse. Razer lists the mouse at 63 g in black or 64 g in white, excluding its cable. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements. Razer’s full specifications

Who is the shape likely to suit?
RTINGS’ comparison, updated March 3, 2026, says the DeathAdder V3 Pro is better suited to larger hands using a palm or claw grip. That is a useful fit guide, not a guarantee: comfort depends on hand size, grip and personal preference. If you prefer a symmetrical mouse or want a shape that accommodates a broader range of hand sizes and grips, the original Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT is the more natural alternative to consider. What 8,000 Hz polling costs in battery life
Out of the box, the DeathAdder V3 Pro polls at 1,000 Hz. Razer advertises up to 90 hours of battery life at that rate. To enable wireless polling up to 8,000 Hz, Razer says you need the optional HyperPolling Wireless Dongle; the higher rate is not a standard included capability. Razer’s support page lists up to 17 hours at 8,000 Hz. Both are manufacturer estimates, and actual battery life may vary with use. Razer FAQ · Razer support specifications
The practical trade-off is substantial: Razer’s stated maximum drops by 73 hours when moving from 1,000 Hz to 8,000 Hz. If you are considering the higher polling rate, check the current package contents and dongle compatibility before buying; Razer describes the dongle as a separate optional upgrade. A launch-era Razer announcement described the accessory as 4,000 Hz, but the current product FAQ and support specifications state up to 8,000 Hz. Razer launch announcement · Current product FAQ
