Rayman Legends Retold ist eine für den 3. Dezember 2026 angekündigte Neuinterpretation des Plattformspiels von 2013. Die Welt und ihre Inszenierung werden vollständig in 3D gestaltet, das Spielprinzip bleibt jedoch seitliches Plattforming – kein frei erkundbares 3D-Abenteuer. Ubisoft nennt außerdem neue Inhalte, lokale Koop-Runden für bis zu vier Personen und eine überarbeitete Fassung von Rayman Origins.
3D-Welt, aber weiterhin Seitenansicht
Ubisoft beschreibt Rayman Legends Retold als vollständig neu gestaltete 3D-Welt mit seitlich scrollendem Plattformspiel. Die Perspektive und Kulisse sollen sich stärker bewegen: Die Kamera kann sich neigen, Spielbereiche werden visuell gebogen und Zwischensequenzen neu inszeniert. Das ändert die Präsentation, nicht die grundlegende Ausrichtung auf Sprünge, Plattformen und den Weg nach vorn.

Wer eine offene, frei begehbare 3D-Spielwelt erwartet, sollte die Ankündigung daher nicht so lesen. Ubisoft nennt ausdrücklich Side-Scrolling-Gameplay. Ubisofts Accessibility-Interview spricht von einer vollständig 3D gestalteten Welt; der PlayStation-Blog-Beitrag zur Ankündigung beschreibt ebenfalls die Mischung aus 3D-Präsentation und klassischem Plattformspiel.
Was neu angekündigt ist
- Neue Geschichte und sechstes Reich: Ubisoft kündigt ein neues Abenteuer samt zusätzlichem Reich an.
- Vier neue Musiklevel: Die Ankündigung verspricht vier musikalische Bühnen.
- Bekannte Level und Drachenritte: Zurückkehrende Abschnitte werden mit neuen Drachenritten kombiniert.
- Vertonte Zwischensequenzen: Ubisoft nennt neu vertonte Cinematics als Teil der Überarbeitung.
- Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition: Diese Fassung ist laut Ubisoft in der Standard-Edition enthalten. Für sie nennt Ubisoft 4K/60 FPS sowie neue Sammelobjekte und Komfortverbesserungen als Spezifikationen beziehungsweise Ergänzungen.

Wer eine physische PS5-Fassung sucht, kann nach „Rayman Legends Retold PS5 Launch Edition“ suchen; prüfe dabei die konkrete Händlerseite auf Region, Inhalt und Verfügbarkeit. Ubisoft erwähnt außerdem einen Vorbesteller-Schlüsselanhänger bei MediaMarkt/Saturn in Deutschland, was keine allgemeine oder dauerhaft verfügbare Beigabe garantiert. PC-Anforderungen: Ubisofts Zielwerte
Ubisoft nennt als Mindestziel 1080p mit 60 FPS auf der niedrigen Grafikeinstellung. Dafür setzt der Publisher qualitativ hochwertiges FSR- oder XeSS-Upscaling voraus. Ebenfalls angegeben sind 33 GB SSD-Speicher und 8 GB Dual-Channel-RAM. Das sind veröffentlichte Systemanforderungen, keine unabhängigen Messungen der tatsächlichen Leistung.

Die Angaben helfen bei einer ersten Einschätzung, belegen aber nicht, wie das Spiel auf einer bestimmten PC-Konfiguration läuft. Ubisoft führt im empfohlenen GPU-String eine auffällige Modellbezeichnung („RTX 20260S“); daraus sollte man kein vermeintlich korrektes Grafikkartenmodell ableiten.
