How should you choose a size and fit?
Do not treat the model name—or a listed size—as a guarantee of comfort. The example RB2140 in 50-22 has a 41 mm lens height and 150 mm temples, while the example RB3025 in 55-14 has a 47.5 mm lens height and 135 mm temples. The RB2140 page also lists a 54-18 configuration with a 47.2 mm lens height and 150 mm temples; the RB3025 page lists 58-14 and 62-14 sizes with different lens heights. Compare the measurements for the exact option you plan to buy rather than assuming all sizes share one fit.

- Consider how an acetate frame’s bridge sits compared with the Aviator’s adjustable nose pads.
- Try the sunglasses on when possible. Product dimensions alone cannot establish how a frame will feel on your face.

How do the lenses and sun-filter categories compare?
Lens tint, polarization, and filter category depend on the selected variant, not just the model name. The example RB2140 50-22 listing has a solid G-15 Green lens marked 3N, while another RB2140 configuration is listed as polarized and marked 3P and another listing gives category 2N. The example RB3025 55-14 listing has a solid G-15 Green Polarized lens marked 3P; other cited Aviator configurations include G-15 Green lenses marked 3N.

Before ordering, read the lens details for the exact size and color. If polarization matters to you, choose a listing that explicitly says “Polarized”; both polarized and non-polarized configurations appear in these product families. The category labels also differ among variants, so verify the marking on the specific pair rather than inferring it from “Wayfarer” or “Aviator.”
Are both models available with prescription lenses?
Ray-Ban’s cited pages show prescription availability for both product families. That does not mean every size, color, or lens combination can be made to your prescription. Confirm the exact configuration and its prescription requirements with the seller or optical provider before ordering.
