To sign in to Quizlet, use the same method you connected to the account: email and password, or the linked Google, Apple, or Facebook account. If you cannot get in, identify the error first—password reset, provider-account mismatch, and an organization’s Google restrictions have different fixes.
Sign in to Quizlet
Open Quizlet’s login page or the Quizlet app and choose the sign-in method associated with your account. If you registered with an email address and password, enter those credentials. If you connected Google, Apple, or Facebook, choose that provider and select the correct account when prompted. Quizlet’s account creation page describes email and provider options; the options shown can differ by platform, region, or app version.

On a shared device, check which Google or Facebook account is currently active before continuing. If Quizlet keeps selecting the wrong one, switch or sign out of that provider account, return to Quizlet, and try again with the account originally linked to Quizlet.

Reset a forgotten password
- Open Quizlet’s Forgotten username or password instructions and choose the password-reset route.
- Enter the email address associated with your Quizlet account and select Reset password.
- Check that email inbox for Quizlet’s reset message and follow its instructions.
If the login page offers Use magic link instead, Quizlet documents that as another way to sign in without entering a password. The exact wording and availability may vary by device or version.

Recover a forgotten username
Use the username-recovery flow linked from Quizlet’s forgotten-credentials guide and enter the account email. Quizlet says it will email the usernames associated with that address. The steps may differ between the website and mobile app.
Fix Google sign-in problems
Google selected the wrong account
Confirm the active Google account is the one connected to your Quizlet account. Sign out of the incorrect Google account or switch accounts, then return to Quizlet and select the intended account.

Quizlet identifies errors such as “Access blocked: Your institution’s admin needs to review this app,” “Error 400: access_not_configured,” and “Error 400: admin_policy_enforced” as possible signs of Google Workspace restrictions. - On the Quizlet website, use the login-link option and enter the email address for your Quizlet account.
- Follow the steps sent to that email to add a password to the account.
- Return to Quizlet and sign in with the account email and password.
Quizlet states in its Trouble logging in guide: “Once you add a password, your Google account will be unlinked from your Quizlet account.” Afterward, use email and password rather than Google sign-in for that account.

Resolve Apple or Facebook sign-in issues
Use the same Apple ID or Facebook account originally connected to Quizlet. For Apple sign-in, Hide My Email may mean the Quizlet account is associated with an Apple private relay address rather than the personal email address you normally type. Try the linked Apple ID instead of assuming that your personal email is the account email.
If provider sign-in still fails on the website, Quizlet recommends updating your browser or app and clearing your browser’s cache and cookies. Menu names for clearing this data vary by browser.

If Quizlet says you tried to log in too many times
After repeated unsuccessful attempts, Quizlet recommends resetting the password using the password-reset steps above. Avoid repeatedly retrying credentials that may be incorrect; make sure you are using the account’s associated email and the correct sign-in method.

Quizlet’s troubleshooting guide says recovery may still be possible and links to a separate regain-access flow. Use that route if you cannot open the email inbox tied to the account. The available outcome depends on the account and its verification; recovery is not guaranteed.

Deleted account or username already in use
A username from a deleted Quizlet account cannot be reused. Quizlet’s help article states: “Once you’ve created an account, that username can’t be reused, even after the original account has been deleted.”
