The agreement creates a framework for discussing possible work; it does not announce a funded Alzheimer’s project or commit either organisation to a specific programme.
What the MoU covers
The MoU is an exploratory agreement between Pune-based Green Solution Industries and INDRC in the Czech Republic. Its purpose is to identify areas where the companies’ industrial and technology experience could complement INDRC’s scientific capabilities, then assess whether practical initiatives are feasible.

Who signed and where the partnership sits
| Organisation or official | Role in the announcement |
|---|---|
| Green Solution Industries, India | Industrial partner; represented by Managing Director Sagar Ahiwale |
| International Neurodegenerative Disorders Research Center (INDRC), Z.Ú. | Czech research partner headquartered in Prague; represented by Chief Executive Officer and Director Dr. Vít Dočkal |
| Professor Václav Snášel | IN DRC board member present at the signing |
| Karel Havlíček | Czech Republic First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry & Trade, under whose leadership the event took place |
| Jayakumar Rawal | Maharashtra Minister for Protocol, also providing leadership for the event |
The event therefore had both an institutional-research and government-facing setting, but the officials’ participation does not turn the MoU into a government-funded research commitment.
Why INDRC’s remit matters
INDRC was established in 2021 and is headquartered in Prague. Its stated remit covers understanding, early detection, prevention and treatment of neurodegenerative disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease.

The centre describes an interdisciplinary model that brings together:

- Artificial intelligence
- Advanced computational methods
- Academic, clinical and industrial collaboration
INDRC reports links with universities, research institutions, clinical centres and industry partners. That background gives the MoU a potential pathway into disease-focused research, data and computational work, diagnostics or technology pilots, but no particular disease study or technical system has been selected.
What Green Solution Industries could contribute
The reports describe Green Solution Industries as pursuing international institutional partnerships and technology-oriented initiatives. The proposed collaboration is intended to test whether its industrial experience can support INDRC’s scientific and research work.
In practical terms, a future project would need to define the problem to be solved, the technology or industrial capability involved, the scientific methods, access to academic or clinical partners, and the evidence required to judge success. Those details are not part of the announcement.
Rank #4
Does the MoU create an Alzheimer’s project?
No. INDRC’s remit includes Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders, so those subjects are within the broad scientific context of the partnership. However, the MoU does not name an Alzheimer’s study, clinical trial, diagnostic product, data programme or treatment-development project.

Any such initiative would require a separate agreement setting out scientific objectives, approvals, partners, funding, responsibilities and milestones. The current announcement only establishes a process for exploring opportunities.

What has not been announced
| Item | Status |
|---|---|
| Specific research project | Not announced |
| Alzheimer’s or other disease programme | Not announced |
| Financial investment or budget | Not announced |
| Implementation timetable | Not announced |
| Division of responsibilities | To be agreed separately if a feasible opportunity is identified |
| Guaranteed scientific or commercial outcome | None stated |
The agreement’s function is therefore closer to a cooperation framework than a project launch. It can support discussions and proposal development, but signing alone does not establish that work will proceed.
Possible next steps
- Define a shared research question. The organisations would need to identify a topic that fits INDRC’s neurodegenerative-disease expertise and Green Solution Industries’ industrial capabilities.
- Assess feasibility. This could include technology-readiness reviews, pilot design, access to clinical or academic partners, data requirements and regulatory considerations.
- Identify funding. The MoU allows the partners to look for grants or other funding programmes rather than supplying a budget itself.
- Set terms in a separate agreement. A concrete project would need named responsibilities, financing, timelines, governance and measurable outcomes.
- Run and evaluate any pilot. Workshops, seminars, conferences or a pilot could be used to develop and test a proposal before larger-scale implementation.
How to judge any future collaboration announcement
Readers assessing a later project announcement should look for five details:
- Scientific fit with INDRC’s neurodegenerative-disorder remit
- Technology readiness and a credible pilot plan
- Access to clinical, academic or industrial partners
- Confirmed funding or a named funding route
- Clear responsibilities, budget, timeline and success measures
Those criteria distinguish a defined research programme from the exploratory framework announced here.
The Bottom Line
The Green Solution Industries–INDRC MoU opens discussions on joint research, technology development and knowledge exchange, with possible pilots and funding searches. It does not yet create a specific Alzheimer’s or neurodegenerative-disease project, provide a budget or guarantee an outcome.
