Crunchyroll is the most anime-focused option on PS5, but there is no reliable worldwide answer to which service has both One Piece and Jujutsu Kaisen. PlayStation’s US entertainment page lists Crunchyroll, Netflix and Hulu as PS5 services. The official One Piece links page names Crunchyroll, Netflix, Hulu, Pluto TV and Funimation, while the official Jujutsu Kaisen on-demand listing retrieved for this comparison is specifically for Japan and names Netflix, Hulu and Prime Video among its services.
Streaming rights differ by country, season and time. Use the comparison below as a map, then search both titles in your own PS5 apps and confirm episode coverage, subtitles or dubs, and the plan required before paying.

What the official sources actually establish
The strongest evidence is split between platform support and title licensing. PlayStation’s US page, “PS5 entertainment: Stream TV, movies and music from your PS5 console,” identifies Crunchyroll, Netflix and Hulu as entertainment services available on PS5. That confirms the apps are part of the PS5 entertainment ecosystem for that market; it does not guarantee that every country receives the same apps.

The official ONE PIECE.com links page lists Crunchyroll, Netflix, Hulu, Pluto TV and Funimation as anime viewing options. Its list is a set of official viewing links, not a promise that each service carries every episode, every arc, or the same language tracks in every territory.
The official Japanese Jujutsu Kaisen “ON AIR” page lists subscription services for the series’ seasons and film in Japan, including Netflix, Hulu and Prime Video, plus Japan-specific services. Because that page is geographically scoped, it cannot establish availability in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia or any other country.
Hulu’s “Watch Crunchyroll Network Online” page adds a narrower fact: a Hulu plan includes selected Crunchyroll titles and the page names Jujutsu Kaisen. “Selected” is important. It does not prove that Hulu includes the complete Jujutsu Kaisen run, all seasons, the film, or One Piece in your local catalog.

PS5 anime apps and the evidence for each title
| Service | PS5 evidence | One Piece evidence | Jujutsu Kaisen evidence | What to verify |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Crunchyroll | Listed on PlayStation’s US PS5 entertainment page; PS5 installation is documented by Crunchyroll Help. | Named on the official ONE PIECE.com viewing-links page. | The retrieved Japanese official listing does not name Crunchyroll; that omission does not determine other territories. | Local listing, season and episode coverage, audio and subtitle options, and plan tier. |
| Netflix | Listed on PlayStation’s US PS5 entertainment page. | Named on the official ONE PIECE.com viewing-links page. | Named on the official Japanese Jujutsu Kaisen on-demand page. | Country catalog, available seasons or film, and whether your existing plan includes the title. |

| Pluto TV | The cited PlayStation page does not establish PS5 app availability. | Named on the official ONE PIECE.com viewing-links page. | The retrieved Japanese official listing does not name Pluto TV. | Whether the app is offered in your country and whether episodes are on-demand or scheduled channels. |
| Funimation | The cited PlayStation page does not establish PS5 app availability. | Named on the official ONE PIECE.com viewing-links page. | The retrieved Japanese official listing does not name Funimation. | Current local service and catalog status before relying on an older franchise link. |
The table separates three questions that are often mixed together: whether an app exists on PS5, whether an official franchise page names a service, and whether a particular local catalog contains the complete show. A “yes” in one column cannot be carried into the others.
Which PS5 apps have One Piece?
The official English-language ONE PIECE.com links page names five viewing services: Crunchyroll, Netflix, Hulu, Pluto TV and Funimation. That is the clearest title-specific source in the supplied material. It does not specify a universal episode count, release schedule, dub availability or country-by-country rights map.
Crunchyroll
Crunchyroll is the most straightforward PS5 starting point because PlayStation lists its app and Crunchyroll documents a PS5 installation path. Search for the show inside the app rather than assuming the franchise page’s list means every arc is present. Check the season selector and open the final available episode to see whether the run is complete for your territory.
Netflix and Hulu
Both services appear on PlayStation’s US PS5 entertainment page and on the official One Piece viewing list. Their catalogs are market-specific, so the number of seasons, language tracks and release timing can differ from Crunchyroll’s. An existing subscription may provide access, but the title can still be restricted to a particular plan or region.

Pluto TV and Funimation
The franchise links page names Pluto TV and Funimation, but the supplied PlayStation page does not establish that either has a PS5 app in every market. Treat those entries as official viewing leads, then search the PS5 Media area and your country’s service catalog. Do not infer that a link on the franchise site means all episodes are available on demand.
Can you watch Jujutsu Kaisen on PS5?
Yes, when a service carrying it is available on your PS5 in your country. The important qualification is licensing. The official on-demand page retrieved for Jujutsu Kaisen is explicitly Japanese and lists Netflix, Hulu and Prime Video, along with other Japan-only services, for the seasons and film. It is valid evidence for Japan, not a global catalog.
What the Japanese listing means for PS5 viewers elsewhere
A service can have a PS5 app yet lack the show in a particular territory. Conversely, a title can be licensed locally while the official Japanese page does not mention the local distributor. Check the title page after selecting your account’s country, and distinguish season one, later seasons and the film: services frequently carry different parts of a franchise.
Hulu’s selected Crunchyroll catalog
Hulu’s Crunchyroll network page names Jujutsu Kaisen among selected Crunchyroll titles. This supports a possible Hulu route, but “selected” rules out assuming the entire series is bundled. Confirm the exact season and episode list and whether your plan includes the relevant catalog before cancelling another subscription.

Which service has both shows?
The supplied official sources do not establish one worldwide service with complete catalogs for both One Piece and Jujutsu Kaisen. Netflix and Hulu are named for both titles in at least some official listings, while Crunchyroll is named for One Piece and has the most direct PS5 anime support. Those facts still do not prove that one account in your country offers every episode of both series.
To find a single-service option, search each title in the same app and record the result at the season level. If One Piece appears but stops before the arc you want, or Jujutsu Kaisen lacks a later season or film, the service is not a complete solution for your viewing plan. A second app may be necessary, and availability can change when rights agreements expire.
How to install and check an anime app on PS5
- From the PS5 home screen, open Media. If you are already in the game area, switch to the Media home.
- Open the PlayStation Store’s Media section and search for the service you want. Crunchyroll’s help page specifically documents this route.
- If you prefer the app directory, choose All Apps in Media Home, find the service and select Download. This is the second installation route documented by Crunchyroll.
- Launch the installed app and sign in, or create an account if the service requires one. A PSN account does not automatically include a separate streaming subscription.
- Search for One Piece and Jujutsu Kaisen separately. Open the title’s season list rather than relying on a search-result thumbnail.
- Check the last listed episode, available seasons and film entries. Read the audio and subtitle menu to confirm Japanese audio, English subtitles or a dub that you actually want.
- Review the service’s plan screen before subscribing. Look for catalog restrictions, ad-supported tiers, simultaneous-stream limits and any premium tier needed for specific episodes.
A five-minute catalog check before you subscribe
- Country: Confirm that the account and catalog are set to the country where you will watch. A Japanese listing cannot answer a US or European availability question.
- Completeness: Count seasons and inspect the final episode number. “The series is available” can mean only one season or a rotating selection.
- Film status: Look for the Jujutsu Kaisen film as a separate entry; a service carrying the television seasons may not carry the film.
- Language: Expand audio and subtitle settings on an actual episode. Promotional pages may not list every language offered in your market.
- Plan: Verify that the exact tier you intend to buy includes the title. Hulu’s selected Crunchyroll wording is a reminder that a network relationship is not the same as an unlimited catalog.
- Device: If an official franchise page names a service but PlayStation’s PS5 page does not, search the PS5 Media store directly before assuming an app is available.
The 2026 PS5 anime hub announcement
On October 8, 2026, Sony Pictures Entertainment announced an anime hub experience for PS5. The announcement describes a dedicated place to discover anime and anime-inspired games and to access the full Crunchyroll app. Crunchyroll President Rahul Purini described it as taking the companies’ partnership “one step further with an anime hub on PlayStation.”

This announcement is a discovery and access feature, not evidence of a new subscription, a new entitlement to episodes, or a separate catalog. It also does not establish universal rollout on the announcement date. If the hub appears on your console, use it to find the Crunchyroll app, then apply the same country, season and plan checks.

If anime is your main PS5 use
Start with Crunchyroll because it is explicitly presented by PlayStation as a PS5 entertainment service and has dedicated PS5 installation instructions. Search both shows and verify the actual local catalog before committing to a plan.
If you already pay for a general streaming service
Check Netflix or Hulu first. Both are listed on PlayStation’s US page, and both appear in official title-related listings. Keep the subscription only if the app shows the seasons and episodes you need; do not pay for a second service based solely on a franchise-link page.
If you are following a specific arc or the film
Use the season selector and film listing as your decision point. A service that works for early One Piece episodes may not have the newest arc, and a service carrying Jujutsu Kaisen seasons may omit the film. Record the exact episode or film you want before comparing plans.
Common mistakes and fixes
“The app is on PS5, so the show must be there.”
App availability and content rights are separate. Fix this by searching inside the logged-in app and checking the season list for your account’s country.

“An official site lists the service, so every episode is included.”
The ONE PIECE.com page names viewing services but does not promise identical catalogs. Fix this by opening the final available episode and checking for missing arcs or rotating availability.
“The Japanese Jujutsu Kaisen page answers my country’s question.”
It does not. The listing is geographically specific to Japan. Fix this by using the local catalog shown after signing in to the service on your PS5.
“Hulu’s Crunchyroll connection means the full anime catalog is included.”
Hulu says selected Crunchyroll titles and names Jujutsu Kaisen; that language does not establish complete coverage. Fix this by checking each requested season and the film under your exact plan.
