October 2026 PS Plus bonus downloads: the reported list
The table reflects a TalkEsport roundup published October 3, 2026. Sony’s official announcement confirms the three HorrorFest offers and the Spider-Man avatar promotion, but not the full ten-item roundup. The first seven listings below are attributed by TalkEsport to GamingBible; treat offers not independently confirmed by Sony as reported listings, and verify them in your local Store.

Sony’s September 30 announcement confirms the Warzone Horror Bundle for October 1, the Hunt Starter Pack for October 6, and the Overwatch 2 pack for October 7. As of October 3, Hunt and Overwatch have not reached their announced dates. Sony says the three are horror-themed in-game item bundles for PS5 and PS4 games, and states: “Base game must be owned to access pack contents.”

How to claim a bonus pack
These are in-game bonuses rather than the monthly games included with PS Plus. The secondary guide says to locate them through the Store; the precise offer and whether it is free to you depend on the local listing.

- Open PlayStation Store on your console or in the PlayStation App.
- Browse the PlayStation Plus Exclusive Packs category, or search for the game’s name and the pack title.
- Open the matching listing and select the option to add it to your library if the Store shows it as included at no cost.
- Launch the relevant game. The secondary guide says pack items generally arrive in the game’s inventory or mailbox, but Sony does not specify one delivery method for all packs.
For HorrorFest items, owning the base game is required to access the contents. For other reported offers, check the individual listing for its terms.
Claim Spider-Man avatars through Sony Pictures Core
Sony’s announcement says PS Plus members can claim the limited-edition Spider-Man: Brand New Day avatars in the Sony Pictures Core app at no extra cost. A non-member must get the movie on Sony Pictures Core to receive them. The promotion ends October 20, 2026; the voucher code expires October 6, 2027. The offer is limited to regions where Sony Pictures Core is available, so confirm that the app and promotion appear locally.

October monthly games are a separate benefit
Monthly games are not the same as the bonus packs above. PlayStation Support says they can be downloaded and played at no extra cost during an active PS Plus membership. Sony’s October announcement schedules its US monthly-game lineup from October 6 through November 2, 2026, and warns that lineups can differ by region. For example, Sony’s Japanese October announcement lists Hello Neighbor alongside F1 25 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2, rather than the US selection. Check the local Store on release day for the games and claim window.

- From the Games home screen, open PlayStation Plus.
- Select Benefits, then Monthly Games.
- Highlight the game and choose Download.
Claim a monthly game on PS4
- From the function screen, open PlayStation Plus.
- Select Monthly Games.
- Highlight the game, choose Add to Library, then Download.

Check the local Store before relying on a listing
Offers may change by date and region. The US PlayStation Plus Exclusive Packs category is a live listing, not a guarantee that every offer is available in other regions or remains available throughout October. Search your own regional Store for the exact game and pack, and check its release date and eligibility before claiming.
