Where to pick up the lost penny
From Liv, head toward the red arched bridge and climb onto the far bank. Look down into the inside corner of a low, L-shaped dirt ledge beside a stone lantern; the penny can be difficult to spot from above. A compatible route is to pass the pink spawn crystal and house, then follow the boundary wall with the red bridge to your left and check the sunken dirt corner. How to complete Liv’s quests
- Talk to Liv and accept the lost-penny quest. Nerd’s Chalk reports a Level 14 requirement for this first step; use the level shown in your current game if it differs. Nerd’s Chalk
- Cross the lake, find the penny in the low corner near the red bridge, and pick it up.
- Return to Liv and hand over the penny.
- Take her follow-up quest and collect 500 pennies around the tree near Liv. Guides describe this as a collection task, not a combat objective. The reported level gate conflicts: Nerd’s Chalk says Level 26, while Slayers 2 Guide and Kongbakpao report Level 21. How the gambling unlock works
Completing the 500-penny quest reportedly unlocks an optional gamble with Liv using Wen. Slayers 2 Guide describes a coin flip: heads pays 1.5 times the wager, while tails loses the wager; Kongbakpao also warns that a loss can cost Wen. Those terms are not consistently detailed across guides, so read Liv’s current dialogue carefully before staking anything. You can close the conversation after the quest if you do not want to gamble.
