The store page does not publish a complete keyboard key table. Do not rely on a key list copied from another game or from an old forum post. Your installation may expose bindings differently, and an independent review described the control scheme as unusual. Open the in-game options and verify every action before entering a difficult section.
Verify the binding for every action
- Launch the game and open its Options menu from the title screen or pause screen.

There is no documented universal winner. Choose the device that lets you repeat a jump reliably while still reaching fire and weapon controls without hesitation. If a section feels impossible, test the other input method before concluding that the route itself is blocked.

Weapons are not limited to combat. The documented review of the game says gunfire can set off environmental patterns that open escape routes. Treat every room as a mechanism to decode. When entering a new section, pause long enough to identify objects that could plausibly react: anything positioned on the route, isolated from ordinary scenery, or placed where a shot can reach it. Fire once, watch the whole room, and note what changed. If a route opens, remember which weapon and target produced it before moving on.
Do not spend or abandon a weapon before checking progression
A beginner can lose time by treating a gun as disposable equipment. Before dropping it or moving away from it, test the obvious environmental target and watch for a delayed change elsewhere in the room. A weapon may be required to trigger the route even when no enemy is nearby.

- Route activation: Has this weapon triggered the door, platform, or other mechanism required to continue?
- Ammunition economy: Do you have enough shots to test the room without firing randomly?
- Mobility cost: Is carrying the weapon now making the next jump or traversal harder?
Why you move slowly with a gun
Carrying a weapon slows the character. This is a deliberate movement-versus-firepower trade-off, not necessarily a control failure or a performance problem. A route can require the gun to open, but the following jump may be easier or only practical after the weapon is switched or dropped.
The mobility check
- Use the weapon on the room’s likely mechanism.
- Watch until the door, platform, or other route element finishes changing.
- Before attempting the next jump, switch or drop the weapon if the game allows it and the weapon is no longer needed for that room’s active step.
- Retry the traversal with the lighter movement state.
- If the jump still fails, restore the weapon and inspect the room for a second trigger instead of repeatedly forcing the same jump.
This loop prevents two common mistakes: trying to outrun a slowdown while still armed, and discarding a weapon before it has done its puzzle job. The right choice can change from one side of a room to the other.

A repeatable method for opening escape routes
1. Read the section before rushing
Start by identifying the apparent destination and the obstacles between you and it. Note elevated ledges, sealed doors, moving platforms, suspicious targets, and places where a projectile could travel. The game is built around 30 sections, so learning to read a room is more valuable than memorizing one isolated jump.

Find a spot from which you can fire at a likely target without immediately committing to a jump. If the controls feel unusual, use this position to confirm which input fires and how the character behaves while armed. Avoid wasting ammunition on uncontrolled tests when a single deliberate shot can provide the information you need.
3. Fire once and observe the entire layout
Environmental changes may occur away from the target. After a shot, scan the route again: a door may have opened behind you, a platform may have moved, or a previously unreachable path may now be available. Do not assume that no visible enemy reaction means the shot did nothing.
4. Decide whether to keep the weapon
If another mechanism is visible or the room demands another shot, retain the weapon and plan a route that accounts for the slower movement. If the next task is a precision jump with no obvious target, switch or drop the weapon and test the lighter movement state.
5. Learn the input rhythm in a low-risk area
The unusual control feel is easier to accommodate when you are not under pressure. Practice the sequence you will repeat in a difficult room: move into position, fire, wait for the environmental response, change equipment, then jump. Consistent rhythm reduces accidental shots and mistimed takeoffs.
