Is PRISON OF HUSKS a PS5 exclusive?

What kind of game is it?
The PlayStation Store describes PRISON OF HUSKS as an action RPG about a doll searching for a lost beloved in a painted afterlife. Its published feature list mentions parries, pistols, character-build customization using Rings and Brooches, interconnected levels with shortcuts, secrets, and bosses. These are the developer’s descriptions, not independently verified gameplay assessments.

The Store also says the game aims to bring back the feel of exploring a compact, interconnected world, with paths and shortcuts that loop back on themselves. That description signals an emphasis on exploration and level connections as well as combat; it is not a guarantee about how the finished game will play.
Is there a demo, and what do price and editions cost?
Glass Head Dolls says an updated demo is available on Steam for PC. The announcement does not establish that a PS5 demo is available.

As of PlayStation LifeStyle’s October 9, 2026 report, a price and preorder details had not been announced. The PlayStation Store listing provides a wishlist option, but does not confirm a price or preorder. The sources cited here also do not confirm a boxed PS5 edition.

Who is making and publishing the game?
The developer is Glass Head Dolls; the PlayStation Store identifies the company as Glass Head Dolls Limited. The developer announcement names Glass Head Dolls and WINGS as publishers, a detail also reported by Gematsu. In that outlet’s October 8, 2026 coverage of the press release, Glass Head Dolls head Tammy Morley said, “It’s been a surreal journey developing this game and I’m so excited to put it out into the world for all sorts of people to explore and enjoy.”
