A soundbar is designed to improve audio from a fixed TV setup. For a straightforward, compact option, compare the Fire TV Soundbar’s dimensions and connections with your TV and available space. The Plus is a more involved system: its reported package includes a subwoofer and two surround speakers, so account for the extra equipment, placement, and total system cost rather than comparing only the soundbar’s price.

The June roundup’s Xtreme 4, for example, was noted for IP67 protection and power-bank functionality; those features do not make its old price a current October deal.
