Those are Amazon’s advertised offers—not proof that every deal is the lowest price of the year across retailers. Check the exact model’s live listing and price history before buying.

Samsung 55-inch The Frame Smart TV
Amazon advertises the 55-inch Samsung The Frame Smart TV at up to 36% off. The listing highlights Art Mode, a slim-fit wall mount, and Alexa built in. “Up to” is Amazon’s promotional maximum; the cited event page does not establish the exact live price for every listing or independently verify the discount. Check the current listing for the price and stock of the precise configuration you want.

Are these really the best TV prices of the year?
Amazon characterizes its event offers as its lowest prices of the year so far. That is the retailer’s description of its sale, not independent evidence that an individual TV is at its annual low across retailers—or that it is the best TV deal of the entire year. The available sources do not provide an independent annual price-history comparison for these specific offers.
Amazon says product detail pages can show up to 365 days of price history. Use that record as a check on an offer, not as an automatic verdict: confirm it is the same model, screen size, and configuration, then compare the displayed history with the current price. A discount percentage against a listed prior price is not enough on its own to establish value.

How to compare a TV deal before buying
- Match the exact model and size. Similar product names can refer to different screen sizes or configurations. Compare the model identifier on the offer with the one shown in the price-history record.
- Check the live price and availability. Event listings can change, and a deal page or earlier article snapshot may no longer reflect the checkout price.
- Compare display technology and features. OLED and Mini LED/QLED describe different display categories; decide which fits your viewing needs rather than assuming one technology makes every TV the better buy. Check smart-TV platform and included features as well.
- Review recent pricing. Use Amazon’s available price history, and avoid calling an offer an annual low unless the relevant model’s history supports that conclusion.
For context, TechRadar’s September 16, 2026 roundup listed an early-event Samsung 55-inch S90H OLED at $1,497.99, down from $1,997.99, and a TCL 65-inch QM6K Mini LED QLED at $664.79. These are dated editorial snapshots, not confirmed live prices for October 7. They illustrate why model, size, technology, and date all matter when comparing Prime Day TV deals. What to know about the “Prime Day” name
Amazon’s October event is called Prime Big Deal Days, distinct from the retailer’s summer Prime Day event. In Amazon’s June 2026 announcement, Prime vice president Jamil Ghani described summer Prime Day as “the biggest shopping event of the year exclusively for members.” That statement refers to Amazon’s summer event; it does not verify a TV-specific lowest-price claim for the October sale.
