Amazon’s fall 2026 shopping event is Prime Big Deal Days, running October 6–7—not Prime Day, which ran June 23–26. The available current coverage identifies several Nintendo Switch accessory offers, but does not verify six live, in-stock deals across Switch, PS5 and Xbox. Because prices and stock change, treat the named products below as leads to check against current listings, not confirmed offers.
What event is this roundup about?
As of October 7, 2026, the current Amazon event is Prime Big Deal Days, scheduled for October 6–7. Amazon says event dates can vary by country, so the dates and offers discussed here apply to the U.S. event context unless a retailer listing specifies otherwise.

Amazon’s separate Prime Day 2026 ran June 23–26. Its promotions and the sale prices reported at that time are historical, not October deals.
Which accessory deals are identified for the fall event?
October 6 coverage from Electrek names these Switch-related products as deal examples: a Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, a Samsung 512GB microSD Express card compatible with Switch 2, a magnetic Joy-Con charging dock, and Switch 2 carrying cases. The coverage does not establish that these are still available, in stock, or at a particular price on October 7. Check the retailer’s live listing for the exact model, compatibility, price and stock before buying.
#1 Best Overall
- Introducing Joy-Con, controllers that make new kinds of gaming possible, for use with Nintendo Switch.
- The versatile Joy-Con offer multiple surprising new ways for players to have fun.
- Two Joy-Con can be used independently in each hand, or together as one game controller when attached to the Joy-Con grip.
- They can also attach to the main console for use in handheld mode, or be shared with friends to enjoy two-player action in supported games.
- Each Joy-Con has a full set of buttons and can act as a standalone controller, and each includes an accelerometer and gyro-sensor, making independent left and right motion control possible.
That coverage does not verify current PS5 or Xbox accessory offers, nor does it substantiate six simultaneous deals spanning all three platforms. It would be misleading to present a six-item cross-platform list as confirmed without checking those individual listings.
Why Switch compatibility needs a closer look
“Switch” can refer to different console generations, and accessories are not automatically interchangeable. The October examples specifically identify a Switch 2-compatible Samsung microSD Express card and Switch 2 carrying cases, while the controller is described as a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. Confirm the exact console model named on the product listing before purchase; a broad “Switch accessory” label is not enough to establish compatibility.

Historical Switch accessory prices from June
Nintendo Wire’s June 24 Prime Day roundup reported the following U.S. sale prices at publication. These are snapshots from the June event, not current October prices or proof that the products remain discounted.

These figures come from Nintendo Wire’s June 24 roundup. A discount against a listing’s reference price alone does not show whether a price is unusually low; the available coverage does not provide a consistent price-history comparison.

How to check a deal before ordering
- Match the product name and model. Confirm that the retailer listing is for the same accessory named in the coverage.
- Check console generation and platform. Look for explicit compatibility with your Switch, Switch 2, PS5 or Xbox model rather than relying on a general category label.
- Verify the live terms. Confirm current price, stock and any Prime-member eligibility on the checkout listing; these details can change during the event.
- Judge the price in context. Compare with a reliable price history if available, rather than treating a crossed-out reference price as proof of the best deal.
What is—and is not—confirmed for PS5 and Xbox
The available October deal examples are Switch-focused. Amazon’s June announcement broadly promoted select tech accessories from Nintendo and Xbox, but that does not establish a specific Xbox offer now. The available sources likewise do not independently verify a current PS5 accessory deal. For either platform, only a checked live listing can support a claim about the exact product, discount, compatibility or availability.
