Amazon’s October Prime event is Prime Big Deal Days, not the summer Prime Day sale. It runs October 6–7, 2026, and Amazon says select CDs and vinyl are included. The event is scheduled to end October 7 at 11:59 p.m. PDT; individual deals are limited and can disappear sooner. Check Amazon’s event guide for the deadline and current offers.
Are vinyl and CDs included in Prime Big Deal Days?
Yes. Amazon’s September 14 announcement says select CDs and vinyl are part of the October event. It advertises discounts of up to 30% on select music apparel, CDs, and vinyl, but that is a maximum for selected items—not a promise that every album is discounted. Confirm the deal on the individual product listing before buying. Amazon’s announcement describes the offer.

What’s the deadline?
Amazon describes Prime Big Deal Days as a 48-hour Prime-member sale running October 6–7, 2026, and gives the scheduled end time as October 7 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. That is 2:59 a.m. EDT on October 8; elsewhere, convert from PDT to your local time zone. A particular offer may sell out or end before the event deadline, so check its live listing rather than relying on the event clock. Amazon’s event guide notes that deal availability is limited.

How to check a record deal before you buy
- Open the current listing. Search Amazon for vinyl records, CDs, or a specific artist and album. The event announcement confirms the categories, but it does not verify a particular listing or price.
- Match the exact edition and format. Check whether the item is a standalone LP, CD, or box set; note the number of discs, vinyl weight if stated, and any extras such as a Blu-ray, book, or singles. Packages with different contents are not like-for-like comparisons.
- Confirm the offer details. Check the current price, seller, stock status, delivery estimate, and whether the specific deal requires Prime. Do not assume that an event-wide Prime sale means every music listing has the same eligibility.
- Recheck at checkout. Prices and availability can change. Make sure the selected edition and price remain as expected in your cart before placing the order.
Why older Prime Day music prices aren’t current deals
A music roundup from Louder, last updated June 26, 2026, includes examples such as Rush’s Signals super deluxe box set, described as containing 180g vinyl, a CD, Blu-ray, book, and singles. That illustrates why checking package contents matters; it does not establish that this set—or the prices in that June roundup—is discounted for October’s Prime Big Deal Days. Louder’s roundup is dated June, so treat its prices as historical rather than live offers.
