What was on sale for Prime Big Deal Days 2026?
Amazon described its October 6–7 U.S. event as a 48-hour sale spanning more than 35 categories. Its official event overview said selected floorcare from Dyson, Ninja and iRobot was discounted by up to 40%. That maximum applied to selected products, not every item from those brands. How to decide whether a deal is worth buying
- Start with the job. Decide whether you need a vacuum, an espresso machine or a sous vide cooker before comparing discount percentages. A larger markdown on the wrong type of product is not useful savings.
- Open the exact product listing. Confirm the model, configuration, seller, stock, delivery terms and whether the offer is available to your account. Event-wide claims do not establish the terms for every listing.
- Check the live price against its history. Amazon says its deal page lets shoppers check Price History for up to 365 days of data. Use that view when available rather than treating a crossed-out price or a percentage-off label as sufficient evidence of value. Amazon Price History information
- Compare against your budget and alternatives. A discount matters only if the current price fits your budget and the model’s features fit your needs. The reported examples do not establish comparative performance across these product categories.
- Recheck before checkout. Prices and availability can change, and Prime eligibility or the seller can differ between listings. Make the decision using the final listing shown at purchase time.
How to interpret the recommendations
The Filter US says: “Every item we recommend is something a Filter editor or contributor has personally tested and can vouch for.” That is The Guardian’s stated editorial policy for its own recommendations; it does not mean the writer of this article tested these products.
There is no market-wide statistic here showing what share of Prime Big Deal Days offers were genuinely worthwhile. Treat specific prices as dated examples and verify them individually rather than assuming that a brand name, sale badge or event-wide maximum discount makes an offer a good buy.
