The update also fixes several audio, character-visual and cutscene issues. Nintendo Everything reported the Switch rollout; the full feature details and patch notes are in Skunkape Games’ official Steam announcement.
What’s new in Poker Night at the Inventory 1.5.0?
The update adds four tables, a selectable visual treatment and a replay option for special item buy-ins. The developer says the four tables bring the game’s roster to 27. These are presentation and replay additions; the announcement does not describe changes to the poker rules.
Four tables to unlock
Each new design is earned by winning tournaments. Their themes draw on the game’s crossover cast and its source material:
- Toys of Power: themed after Max’s telekinetic abilities interface in Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse.
- Parsnips A-Plenty: inspired by an old-timey Homestar Runner short.
- Gabe’s Shirt XXXL: features retro shading on Tycho and a table-sized version of Gabe’s yellow shirt.
- Mann vs. Machine: a tribute to Team Fortress 2’s co-op mode, including a robotic Heavy skin.
The 27-table total is the figure given by Skunkape Games in its update announcement.

Stank Mode
Stank Mode is an optional visual filter in the gameplay settings. Skunkape describes it as making colors less vibrant, the atmosphere smokier and the overall look dingier. The developer says it responds to some longtime fans’ feeling that the remaster’s upgraded lighting, graphics and effects had lost some of the original game’s “stank”; that is the developer’s explanation of the feature, not a measured finding about players as a whole.
Replay special item buy-ins
A new setting lets players revisit special item buy-in rounds after they have already won the corresponding item. Replaying the round does not award a second copy of the item.

What did version 1.5.0 fix?
The patch notes group the fixes across host dialogue, sound, character visuals and a table-switch scene problem:
- Gameplay messaging: The Host no longer incorrectly says the blinds are changing when they are not.
- Audio: Chip sound effects return in some win cutscenes, and pause-menu slider and toggle sounds now play without waiting for the menu to close.
- Character visuals: Tycho’s finger no longer intersects his eyebrow in showdown close-ups. Heavy’s visor no longer disappears when he busts out, and Heavy no longer intersects with the chair and table afterward.
- Cutscene environment: Switching from the Automata or Telltale Shield table during the opening cutscene no longer causes the environment to turn black.

Platforms and related bundle
Nintendo Everything reported that version 1.5.0 went live on Nintendo Switch on October 1, 2026. Skunkape Games published the complete update announcement on Steam. The available reporting does not establish a complete rollout schedule across every platform or current availability in every region.
Skunkape’s announcement also promotes the “Looks Like We’re Gonna Have to Jump!” bundle, pairing Poker Night at the Inventory with Dangeresque: The Roomisode Triungulate, described as three short point-and-click adventures starring Dangeresque. The announcement does not establish current prices or regional storefront availability.
