What is the Ditto Switch 2 controller?
It is the PowerA Advantage Wireless Controller for Nintendo Switch 2 — Pokémon: Ditto (SKU NSGP0671). PowerA lists it for Switch 2 as well as Nintendo Switch, Switch OLED and Switch Lite. It can be used with Switch 2 in docked or undocked play. PowerA’s product page is the source for the model and compatibility details.
This is separate from Nintendo’s pastel Joy-Con 2 pair in Light Purple and Light Green, which Nintendo lists as its own product: Nintendo’s Joy-Con 2 listing.
Design, features and battery claim
Dexerto’s October 1, 2026 report describes a light-purple shell with a darker-purple Ditto graphic across the front, alongside purple thumbsticks, buttons and D-pad. That is the publication’s description of the design, rather than a specification on PowerA’s product page. Dexerto’s report also reported the US preorder details below.

PowerA lists these features:
- Hall Effect modules in the thumbsticks.
- Two assignable Advanced Gaming Buttons.
- Motion controls and a C Button for GameChat.
- A 3-metre USB-C cable included in the box.
- Up to 30 hours of battery life per charge, according to PowerA. This is the manufacturer’s claim, not an independently tested runtime.
What it does not support
PowerA states that the controller does not support HD Rumble, the IR camera or amiibo NFC. It also cannot be used with games designed to require Joy-Con. Those omissions matter if you rely on Joy-Con-specific features or want amiibo scanning and HD Rumble from a single controller.
Price and release timing
Dexerto reported on October 1, 2026 that the Ditto controller was listed for preorder on Amazon US at $50.99, with shipping expected to begin October 20, 2026. These are dated retailer details, not a guaranteed current price or availability; check the live US listing before buying. PowerA’s cited product page is a Spanish regional page and does not independently confirm US pricing or stock.
