The latest identified Pokémon Masters EX tier-list snapshot is dated October 8, 2026, for version 2.73.0. It notes the addition of Sygna Suit Lysandre (Alt.) & Chi-Yu and Sygna Suit Ghetsis & Chien-Pao, but the available ranking excerpt does not show their tier placements or the full list. Check the live Pocket Gamer tier list for exact positions, and use a tier as a starting point—not a guarantee that a pair is available or right for your team.
What the latest Pokémon Masters EX tier list establishes
Pocket Gamer’s “Pokémon Masters EX tier list – The best sync pairs to use” was updated October 8, 2026, and identifies game version 2.73.0. Its update note names two additions:

- Sygna Suit Lysandre (Alt.) & Chi-Yu
- Sygna Suit Ghetsis & Chien-Pao
The available excerpt does not show the complete ranking table, the two pairs’ exact placements, or the publisher’s detailed placement rationale. For those specifics, consult the live tier list; do not infer a tier from the update note alone. The date and version matter because pair evaluations can change as the game changes.
How to use a tier list when choosing a pair
A tier is a broad comparison, not a prediction of how a pair will perform in every battle. Start with the job your team needs filled, then compare candidates using the pair information available in the maintained sync-pair reference list.
#1 Best Overall
- Pokémon Masters EX PANEL SPECTACLE Cynthia & Mega Garchomp Figure Prize Figure
- Role: Check whether the pair’s role suits the job you need on the team.
- Type and weakness: Use these to consider type coverage and whether the pair fits the stage’s matchup.
- EX role and potential: Compare these details when evaluating how a pair fits your roster and intended build.
- Team needs: Consider what your current roster already covers rather than treating a higher tier as an automatic upgrade.
The reference fields help you compare fit; they do not, by themselves, establish a universal ranking or guarantee a result on a particular stage.
Check whether a Sync Pair is available before deciding to scout
A tier-list position does not mean a pair is currently offered. The official Sync Pair Scout guidance tells players to check the Offering Rate section of the in-game Sync Pair Scout screen for the pairs and rates, and to read the screen’s Notes. It also says exclusive pairs may appear outside their corresponding scouts in the future. That means exclusivity is not a promise of permanent absence, and a past or general tier listing is not proof of present availability.
Rank #2
- The Pokémon TCG: Mega Greninja ex Premium Collection includes 1 foil promo card featuring Mega Greninja ex and 1 oversize lenticular promo card featuring Mega Greninja ex.
- This also comes with 1 tech sticker featuring Mega Greninja.
- You will also receive 8 Pokémon TCG booster packs.
- Open the Sync Pair Scout screen for the banner you are considering.
- Read its Offering Rate section to confirm which pairs are included and their listed rates.
- Read the banner’s Notes for conditions that affect the scout.
- Make your decision using the current in-game information rather than assuming a pair is featured because it appears on a tier list.
Account for current mechanics, not just a tier label
Some pair features can matter when comparing team contributions. The official game update information explains that EX Master Sync Pairs have a Master Passive Skill that strengthens the whole team. The same official source reports that Stellar type was added for certain Sync Pairs to use when Sync Terastallized. These mechanics are useful context for understanding a pair’s role, but neither mechanic establishes a particular tier placement on its own.
