A Lure Module is placed at a PokéStop and can benefit the user and nearby Trainers. Its normal duration is 30 minutes, although Niantic notes that duration can change. It is the better choice when a group wants a shared attraction point.

During some events, Incense can attract different Pokémon or have a changed duration. A changed color indicates an event-specific attraction. Check the game’s Today View for active event details.
