The POCO X8 Pro is the more specification-led choice for buyers who value its listed chipset, 100W wired charging and dedicated ultrawide camera. The OnePlus Nord CE 6 5G is worth considering if its comparison-listed larger, faster-refresh display and 8,000mAh battery matter more. In India, listed prices vary by source, so there is no dependable fixed price gap without checking current listings.
How the two phones differ
POCO’s global product page provides manufacturer specifications for the X8 Pro. The Nord CE 6 figures below come from secondary comparison pages, not an official OnePlus India product specification page. Choose the POCO X8 Pro for its listed chipset, charging and ultrawide camera
The Dimensity 8500-Ultra, up-to-100W charging rating and dedicated 8MP ultrawide make the POCO a logical fit if those specifications align with your priorities. POCO says its 6,500mAh figure is typical capacity and that charger availability may vary by local seller. Its published 48-minute 1%-to-100% charging result was measured in POCO Internal Labs using the in-box 100W charger, with “Top speed” enabled and the display off at about 25°C; it is not a result to expect under every condition.

The chipset and listed clock speed favor the POCO on paper, but clock speed alone does not establish real-world performance. No independent head-to-head performance, thermal, battery-endurance, camera or charging test is available here. Likewise, camera megapixel counts do not establish image quality.
Consider the Nord CE 6 for its reported screen and battery capacity
Comparison sources list a larger 6.78-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate and an 8,000mAh battery for the Nord. Those specifications may suit buyers who prioritize screen size, a higher listed refresh rate or greater stated battery capacity. Actual refresh behavior depends on content and settings, while battery capacity and charging wattage are not substitutes for measured endurance or charge-time tests.

The same sources list a 32MP front camera, but resolution alone does not demonstrate better selfie quality. The POCO’s 8MP ultrawide is explicitly identified as an ultrawide camera; the Nord’s secondary camera is listed as 2MP without the same clear role in the cited comparison data.

Do not treat the protection ratings as a simple ranking
POCO specifies IP68 for the global X8 Pro, while Gadgets 360 reports IP69K for the Nord CE 6. These ratings involve different test conditions, and the cited evidence does not establish the documentation for every regional variant. Check the rating and warranty terms for the exact phone sold in India rather than assuming one label makes a device categorically more durable.
