Price snapshots accessed on October 7, 2026 show the POCO M8 Power 5G at ₹23,927 on 91mobiles and ₹23,990 on MySmartPrice. The vivo S2 5G is listed at ₹39,900 and ₹39,999, respectively. That puts the vivo roughly ₹15,900–₹16,100 higher across those listings. Prices and stock can change, and the exact RAM and storage variant should be checked before buying.

Display: vivo has more pixels on the same stated screen size
Both comparison listings describe a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The vivo’s listed 1260 × 2800 resolution is higher than the POCO’s 1080 × 2396, so it has more pixels packed into a similarly sized screen. The available comparison data does not establish a brightness advantage for either phone.

Cameras: vivo has the higher-resolution selfie camera
The vivo’s listed 32 MP front camera has a clear resolution advantage over the POCO’s 8 MP front camera on paper. That specification alone does not show which phone takes better selfies: image processing, optics and shooting conditions also matter, and the comparison pages do not provide a controlled image-quality test.

Both phones are listed with a 50 MP main rear camera and an additional 2 MP camera; vivo’s is identified as a depth camera. The shared headline resolution does not establish equivalent photo quality.

Battery and charging: POCO lists the larger capacity
The POCO is listed with an 8,000 mAh battery and 45 W charging, compared with 7,050 mAh and 44 W for the vivo. The higher stated capacity makes the POCO the capacity-first choice on paper, but capacity does not guarantee a particular user’s runtime.
91mobiles reported PCMark battery results of 15 hours 56 minutes for the POCO and 14 hours 57 minutes for the vivo in 2026. These are site-reported test results, not a promise of everyday battery life; actual endurance varies with settings and use. The comparison pages also show different benchmark result sets in some sections, so unlike figures should not be combined into a single performance claim.

Performance, portability and update listings
Chipset and memory
The comparison tables place the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo in the vivo and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 in the POCO, describing the vivo as the higher chipset tier. That is not a measured guarantee of faster performance in every task. The listed memory configurations also differ, so compare like-for-like retailer variants when assessing prices.
Weight and thickness
The vivo is listed at 197 g and 7.99 mm thick; the POCO at 225 g and 8.4 mm. The vivo is therefore 28 g lighter and slightly thinner in these reported specifications, a distinction worth considering if carrying comfort matters.

These periods are attributed to that comparison listing; verify the applicable support commitment with the manufacturer for the specific India model before treating it as a purchase guarantee.
Which phone should you buy?
Choose the POCO M8 Power 5G if
- You want the lower listed price: the reviewed snapshots put it about ₹16,000 below the vivo.
- You prioritize greater stated battery capacity.
- You prefer the longer update periods shown in the 91mobiles comparison, subject to manufacturer confirmation.
Choose the vivo S2 5G if
- You value the higher listed screen resolution while keeping the same stated screen size and refresh rate.
