How do the displays compare?
The Edge 70 Fusion’s Japan-listed display is 0.01 inches larger diagonally, has a higher stated resolution and supports a refresh rate up to 144Hz, compared with 120Hz on the POCO M8 5G. Those figures describe the display specifications; they do not by themselves establish how bright or color-accurate either screen is in use.

Which phone has the faster processor?
The listed chips are Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 in the POCO and Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 in the Motorola. The model names alone are not a substitute for comparable real-world testing: the available sources do not provide matched benchmarks or testing of everyday speed. Choose based on verified local pricing and other specifications rather than assuming a particular performance margin.

Battery, charging and software
POCO specifies a 5,520mAh typical battery and 45W charging, and says the power adapter is not included in the box. Check package contents for the specific market and seller; POCO recommends a compatible 45W PD charger.
The cited Motorola Japan listing does not state battery capacity or charging wattage, so a battery-capacity or charging-speed comparison cannot be made from these figures. It lists Android 16, while the cited POCO page does not establish an operating-system version or update commitment. An OS version alone does not show how long a phone will receive updates.
