The POCO M7 Pro 5G answers with a 20MP front camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack and, in most listings we saw, a lower price. The displays and the 45W charging speed are essentially the same. This is a specification-led comparison built from manufacturer pages and retailer listings, not a hands-on review, so it does not declare a winner on speed, battery life or photo quality.

Performance: no verified winner
The POCO uses a Dimensity 7025-Ultra on a 6nm process. The realme uses a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 on 4nm. A newer, smaller node suggests the realme’s chip may be more efficient, but process node and clock speed do not settle real-world speed, and we found no matched independent test of these two exact models. Treat any “faster” claim as unproven until you see sustained-load and gaming results run on both phones.

Display: very close on paper
Both phones use a 6.67-inch, 1080×2400 AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Specs alone do not tell you peak brightness, outdoor legibility, colour accuracy or touch response, so do not assume the two are equal there.

Battery and charging
The realme’s 6000mAh cell is about 17% larger than the POCO’s 5110mAh typical rating (note that “typical” is a different measurement basis from a plain rated figure, so the gap in real terms may differ slightly). Both charge at 45W. A bigger battery gives the realme a head start, but runtime depends on screen use, network conditions and chipset efficiency, and no comparable runtime test was found. Charging a larger battery at the same wattage may also take longer.

POCO’s official page lists a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, which usually helps with low-light shots and video steadiness, plus a 20MP selfie camera. The realme’s camera details are less complete in the sources we could verify; check realme India’s page for the exact rear setup before buying. Megapixel counts do not indicate image quality. For audio, POCO lists a 3.5mm headphone jack, which matters if you use wired earphones. If that matters to you, confirm it on the realme’s spec sheet.
Durability: IP69 vs IP64
realme promotes IP69 for the P3, and POCO lists IP64 for the M7 Pro. In the IEC 60529 scheme the first digit covers dust (6 means dust-tight on both phones) and the second covers water. IP64 means protection against splashing water from any direction. IP69 adds resistance to close-range, high-pressure, high-temperature water jets. Neither rating means the phone is indestructible, and ingress damage is commonly excluded from warranty, so read the warranty terms for your regional variant.

Prices move constantly, and the listings we saw disagree because they differ in date, seller and memory configuration. They should not be merged into one quote.
| Source and date | POCO M7 Pro 5G | realme P3 5G |
|---|---|---|
| Smartprix comparison page (details updated October 2, 2026) | ₹14,000 | ₹15,999 |
| Gadgets 360 listings (September 11, 2026) | Starting at ₹14,999 | ₹16,299 |
| Another comparison listing (date not stated) | ₹14,999 | ₹15,999 |
Across all three, the POCO is cheaper, by roughly ₹1,000 to ₹2,000 depending on the listing. Before you buy, compare the same RAM and storage tier at the same retailer on the same day, and include bank offers and exchange values, which can reverse a small gap.
Quick Recap
Which should you pick?
- Choose the realme P3 5G if you want the largest stated battery, the IP69 rating, or a 4nm Snapdragon platform.
- Choose the POCO M7 Pro 5G if you want the lower price, optical stabilization on the main camera, a higher-resolution selfie camera or a 3.5mm headphone jack.
- Wait for independent tests if sustained performance, battery life or photo quality is the deciding factor, since the spec sheets cannot settle those.
