Is the POCO F9 Pro one-third off on Amazon UK?
That saving is not established. A UK phone-deal comparison page references an Amazon purchase route, but it does not verify a current Amazon UK price, Prime eligibility or the reference price needed to calculate a one-third reduction. A deal report updated on 1 October 2026 described a white 12GB/512GB model for €749.90 with Prime in a non-UK market; that price cannot substantiate a UK offer. MoneySavingExpert’s UK phone-deal comparison and the regional report should not be treated as proof of a live UK price.

Check that it is Amazon UK, the seller and stock status, whether Prime is required, delivery terms, and whether the offer is for the 256GB or 512GB version. To judge a percentage saving, compare against a clearly identified reference price and period rather than relying on a crossed-out figure alone.

What does the POCO F9 Pro offer?
Xiaomi UK lists two configurations: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage. Usable capacity is lower than the stated total because the operating system and preinstalled software take up space. The following are manufacturer-published specifications, not independent test results. See Xiaomi UK’s specifications.
Performance and display
Xiaomi specifies a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series chipset and a dedicated VisionBoost D8 graphics boost chipset. The 6.59-inch display has a stated 2510 × 1156 resolution and a refresh rate of up to 185Hz. Xiaomi’s maximum refresh-rate figure can vary by application and image quality; it does not mean every game will run at 185 frames per second. Actual game performance depends on the game, settings, software, network and temperature. Xiaomi’s product page promotes gaming features, but the reviewed information does not provide independent comparative benchmark or sustained-performance results.

The rear camera system comprises a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50MP telephoto camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera. Those resolutions describe the hardware, not the quality of photos in every situation; the available evidence does not establish independent camera results.

Battery and charging
Xiaomi lists a 6,330mAh typical battery, 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The power adapter is not included, according to the specifications page. Xiaomi recommends a Xiaomi adapter rated at 100W or above, or a 100W adapter that supports PD charging. The wireless charger is sold separately, and availability may vary by country or region. Charging speed depends on conditions; do not assume a particular charge time from the wattage rating alone.

Water resistance
Xiaomi lists an IP68 rating, tested under specific laboratory conditions according to IEC 60529. That qualification is not a promise that the phone is waterproof in every real-world situation.

A high-end chipset and fast-refresh display may suit gaming and demanding apps, but the hardware specifications alone do not show how it compares with another phone in sustained performance, camera results or battery endurance. Compare like with like before choosing:

- Use the same storage tier and a verified UK purchase price.
- Look for independent sustained-performance and thermal tests, not just chipset names or peak refresh-rate claims.
- Compare camera results across the main, telephoto and ultrawide cameras.
- Check independent battery-endurance and real charging-time results.
- Compare software support, warranty, seller and box contents alongside the price.
