Choose POCO F7 for more screen area
At 6.83 inches, the POCO F7 has the larger display. That may suit you if you prioritize a more expansive viewing area for videos, reading, or games. Its listed refresh rate is up to 120Hz.
Choose iQOO 15R for the higher stated refresh rate
The iQOO 15R has a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display rated up to 144Hz. The published refresh-rate ceiling is higher than POCO’s, but that number alone does not establish a better overall display or a smoother experience in every app.

What the chipset and battery specifications tell you
Chipsets are specifications, not a performance verdict
POCO lists the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4; iQOO lists the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. The iQOO’s named platform is the higher-tier/newer one in these published specifications, but there is no independent head-to-head test here to establish real-world speed, gaming performance, or sustained performance.
Use the India battery figure for the India POCO F7
Xiaomi’s global POCO F7 page lists a 6500mAh typical battery, while its support FAQ gives 7550mAh typical for the India model. iQOO lists 7600mAh typical for the 15R. For an India-market comparison, use the India-specific POCO figure and verify the variant; the global listing should not be treated as the India specification.

Capacity does not establish how long either phone lasts in use. Similarly, the listed charging ratings—90W HyperCharge for POCO and 100W for iQOO—do not establish a charging-time winner; charging time depends on conditions and accessories.

Both phones list a 50MP OIS main camera and an 8MP secondary rear camera. POCO identifies its main sensor as the Sony IMX882 and calls the secondary camera ultra-wide; iQOO identifies a Sony LYT-700V main sensor and describes its secondary camera as wide-angle. The iQOO’s listed selfie-camera resolution is 32MP, compared with 20MP on the POCO F7.

Which phone should you choose?
- Pick the POCO F7 if a larger 6.83-inch screen is the priority, and the India-specific battery specification and a verified in-stock offer suit you.
- Pick the iQOO 15R if you prefer a more compact 6.59-inch display, want its higher stated 144Hz refresh rate, or value the listed Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform and 32MP selfie camera.
- Compare before choosing on price, photos, or battery life. The listed prices do not prove a live saving, and the available specifications do not establish camera quality, runtime, or sustained performance.
POCO calls its battery “the largest battery capacity in the POCO series to date” on its product page; that is the manufacturer’s promotional statement, not an independent comparison.
