Both are specified with 6,500mAh batteries and similar rear-camera resolutions, but those figures alone do not settle battery life or photo quality. POCO F7 vs TECNO POVA 8 Pro 5G: specifications
The figures below are manufacturer specifications, not results from independent head-to-head testing. POCO’s page is global; the TECNO specifications are from its Saudi Arabia page, so regional variants may differ.

Which phone has the stronger performance specifications?
On paper, the POCO F7 has the higher-tier listed processor. POCO calls the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 an “All-Big-Core” design on TSMC’s 4nm process, and lists a peak clock of 3.21GHz. TECNO specifies a Dimensity 7400 Ultimate 5G with a clock speed up to 2.6GHz. Chip names, architecture descriptions and peak clocks do not by themselves prove how either phone performs in demanding games or sustained workloads.

POCO reports an AnTuTu V10 score of 2,084,535 from POCO Internal Labs. The page says testing used AnTuTu V10.4.9 and cautions that actual results may vary. This is a manufacturer-reported result, undated on the page, not an independently replicated score or a direct comparison with the TECNO phone.
Which display is better for your use?
TECNO lists the higher refresh rate: 144Hz compared with 120Hz on the POCO F7. A higher refresh rate can make supported motion appear smoother, but it does not establish that every app or game will run at that rate. POCO’s listed screen is slightly larger at 6.83 inches; TECNO gives its panel resolution as 2644 × 1208. Consider screen size, resolution and refresh rate together rather than treating one number as a complete measure of display quality.

Battery capacity and charging: what the numbers tell you
Both brands list a 6,500mAh battery, though POCO labels its figure typical. That shared capacity does not establish equal battery life: endurance also depends on display settings, software, signal conditions and workload. POCO specifies 90W charging and up to 22.5W wired reverse charging, while TECNO lists 45W charging. The POCO’s stated charging power is higher, but the figures do not establish actual charging times under comparable conditions.

Both phones are listed with a 50MP optical-image-stabilized main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide rear camera. POCO names a Sony IMX882 sensor for the F7’s main camera; the TECNO page specifies a 50MP OIS camera. These published resolutions and features do not establish which phone takes better photos or video. A fair quality comparison would need comparable camera samples and video testing.

Water resistance: check the exact regional model
POCO specifies IP68 and describes testing in static freshwater up to 1.5m for up to 30 minutes. TECNO advertises IP69K, IP69, IP68 and IP66 resistance on its Saudi product page, but buyers should confirm the rating and conditions that apply to their exact regional model. Ratings are tied to particular tests and conditions, so the listed codes alone do not support a simple claim that one phone is categorically more durable.
