Choose the POCO F6 if you want a larger display; choose the vivo X300 FE if its dedicated telephoto camera, compact screen, and published durability ratings matter more. The price comparison is less clear: vivo’s India store lists the X300 FE at ₹84,999 for 8GB + 256GB, while the available POCO F6 price evidence is a third-party snapshot marked out of stock—not a confirmed live offer.

Which phone suits your priorities?

Choose POCO F6 for a larger screen

The F6’s 6.67-inch display gives it a larger viewing area than the X300 FE’s 6.31-inch panel. Both are listed at up to or at 120Hz, but the published figures do not establish how the displays compare in brightness, color accuracy, or outdoor readability.

Choose vivo X300 FE for a dedicated telephoto camera

vivo lists three rear cameras: a 50MP telephoto, a 50MP main camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide. POCO lists a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide on the F6 page reviewed. The telephoto module gives the X300 FE a more varied published camera layout, but megapixel counts and camera count do not establish which phone takes better photos.

vivo says its ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 is compatible with the X300 FE and must be purchased separately; the announcement priced it at ₹15,999. That is an optional accessory, not part of the phone’s listed camera configuration. See vivo India’s newsroom announcement and the X300 FE product page.

Compare platform names, not assumed benchmark results

The listed processors are Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 in the POCO F6 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 in the vivo X300 FE. The model names identify different platforms, but the specifications cited here do not provide a controlled performance comparison. Do not treat the names alone as a gaming, sustained-performance, or battery-life test.

Consider battery and protection with regional specifications in mind

vivo lists a 6500mAh typical battery, 90W charging, and IP68/IP69 ratings for the India X300 FE. The POCO global specification page used for this comparison does not establish matching F6 battery or IP-rating figures, so it would be misleading to infer a head-to-head result from these sources. Battery capacity by itself also does not establish real-world endurance.

What is the India price difference?

There is no verified, like-for-like live price difference established by the available listings. The vivo prices below are official India figures from different dates and sources; POCO prices are third-party snapshots rather than confirmed in-stock manufacturer pricing.

Phone and configuration Reported price Source and qualification
vivo X300 FE, 8GB + 256GB ₹84,999 Listed on vivo India’s e-store when accessed; checkout price and future availability may differ. Official vivo India e-store
vivo X300 FE, 12GB + 256GB ₹79,999 at launch; ₹89,999 on the store listing reviewed vivo India’s May 2026 launch announcement gave ₹79,999; the accessed store listing showed ₹89,999. The date and source matter. vivo India Newsroom
vivo X300 FE, 12GB + 512GB ₹89,999 at launch; ₹99,999 in the August 2026 variant announcement The May 2026 launch announcement and August 2026 variant announcement report different prices. vivo India Newsroom
POCO F6, starting price snapshot ₹25,999 Gadgets 360 snapshot dated September 11, 2026; its listed offers were marked out of stock. Gadgets 360
POCO F6, configuration prices ₹31,999 to ₹33,999 91mobiles snapshot reported one store; it is not equivalent to a confirmed live authorized offer. 91mobiles

Subtracting the ₹25,999 POCO snapshot from the ₹84,999 vivo store listing gives a ₹59,000 gap between those reported listings. It is not a reliable amount a buyer will necessarily pay: the POCO offer was marked out of stock, the configurations and source types differ, and no current comparable POCO price is confirmed.

How to make a fair buying comparison

  1. Match the configuration. Compare the same RAM and storage level where possible; the listed POCO options are 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB, while vivo lists three configurations, including 12GB + 256GB.
  2. Check an in-stock India offer. Confirm the seller, exact model and configuration, final checkout price, and delivery availability. Do not treat an old or out-of-stock snapshot as a current offer.
  3. Confirm region and warranty. POCO’s cited specification page is global, while vivo’s cited specifications and prices are for India. Check the exact regional model and its warranty terms before purchase.
  4. Decide which differences you will use. The screen-size choice and whether you value a dedicated telephoto camera are clearer differentiators than untested assumptions about speed, image quality, or endurance.

Verdict: which should you buy?

For a larger display, the POCO F6 is the straightforward fit on the published specifications. For a smaller 6.31-inch phone with a dedicated telephoto camera, stated IP68/IP69 ratings, and a listed 6500mAh typical battery with 90W charging, the vivo X300 FE offers more on-paper features. Whether those justify the higher listed price depends on a current, comparable POCO offer and your priorities; the available price evidence cannot establish a definitive live premium.
