Playwright किसी banner को अपने-आप हटाता नहीं है। अगर वह screenshot में content ढक रहा है, तो पहले capture के ठीक समय banner और target element की स्थिति देखें: वह layout में जगह ले रहा है, fixed या sticky overlay है, या बाद में insert हो रहा है? सही समाधान इस बात पर निर्भर करता है कि test को banner दिखाना है या उसके पीछे का content। भारतीय वेबसाइट होना अपने-आप में किसी अलग Playwright व्यवहार का संकेत नहीं है।
पहले तय करें: screenshot में क्या दिखना चाहिए?
Viewport screenshot मौजूदा viewport दिखाता है; fullPage: true पूरे scrollable page को एक लंबी image की तरह capture करता है। Full-page mode capture का क्षेत्र बदलता है, banner का व्यवहार नहीं। इसलिए अगर overlay content को ढक रहा है, तो ऊंचा screenshot लेने से वह अपने-आप नहीं हटेगा। Playwright screenshots documentation में viewport और full-page capture के विकल्प दिए गए हैं।
- अगर आप वास्तविक user experience जांच रहे हैं, banner को रहने दें और overlap को test का हिस्सा मानें।
- अगर आप केवल underlying content की visual जांच कर रहे हैं, तो banner को site के वास्तविक UI से dismiss करें, जहां यह आपके test के उद्देश्य के अनुकूल हो; या test-only CSS override से छिपाएं।
- अगर consent व्यवहार ही test हो रहा है, prompt को चुपचाप छिपाना test को गलत बना सकता है।
Banner और ढके हुए element की जांच कैसे करें
Screenshot call के आसपास page state दर्ज करें। Banner कब दिखता है—navigation के बाद, delay के बाद, scroll पर, या consent state बदलने पर? उसकी visibility, bounding box, CSS position और z-index देखें; साथ में उस target element की जगह और आकार भी जांचें। इससे पता चलेगा कि banner सामान्य document flow में जगह ले रहा है या दूसरे content के ऊपर आ रहा है।
Playwright locator screenshot target को view में लाने के लिए scroll कर सकता है और actionability का इंतजार करता है, लेकिन overlay को हटाता नहीं। आधिकारिक locator screenshot API साफ कहती है: “If the element is covered by other elements, it will not be actually visible on the screenshot.” यानी locator screenshot में भी ढका हुआ element वास्तव में दिखाई नहीं देगा। Locator screenshot API documentation

क्या banner layout का हिस्सा है या overlay?
- अगर banner को content नीचे धकेलना चाहिए, तो site layout में उसे flow में रखें या उसके लिए जरूरी जगह reserve करें।
- अगर उसे content के ऊपर overlay होना चाहिए, तो तय करें कि capture में यही अपेक्षित स्थिति है या नहीं।
- अगर वह देर से आता है, तो arbitrary sleep जोड़ने की जगह उस खास content या banner state के लिए locator-based wait या assertion इस्तेमाल करें।
इन संकेतों से जांच की दिशा मिलती है; बिना page URL या reproducible example के किसी खास site का कारण तय नहीं किया जा सकता।
स्थिर capture के लिए सही इंतजार और विकल्प चुनें
Screenshot से पहले वही page state सुनिश्चित करें जिसकी test को जरूरत है। Arbitrary timeout के बजाय उस content या banner की मौजूदगी और अपेक्षित स्थिति पर locator-based wait या assertion रखें। Capture विकल्प उद्देश्य के अनुसार चुनें:

CSS animation, transition या Web Animation के चलते image अस्थिर हो तो screenshot विकल्प animations: "disabled" उपयोगी हो सकता है। Playwright के अनुसार finite animations fast-forward होते हैं और infinite animations capture के लिए cancel होकर बाद में resume होते हैं। यह motion से आने वाली अस्थिरता घटाता है, स्थिर overlap या गलत stacking ठीक नहीं करता। Page screenshot API documentation
Visual comparison में browser और viewport मिलाएं
तुलना के लिए browser engine, operating system, viewport, device scale और fonts को समान रखें। अलग browser या platform पर rendering और fonts के कारण screenshots अलग हो सकते हैं। Playwright Test snapshot assertions तुलना से पहले लगातार दो समान screenshots का इंतजार करती हैं और फिर आखिरी screenshot को expected snapshot से मिलाती हैं। यह visual stability में मदद करता है; यह साबित नहीं करता कि page design सही है। Visual comparisons documentation

आम समस्या और उसका उपाय
- Full-page capture के बाद भी content ढका है: full-page mode सिर्फ capture area बदलता है। Banner की position और intended state जांचें।
- Locator screenshot में target नहीं दिखा: locator target को scroll कर सकता है, मगर ऊपर आए दूसरे element को नहीं हटाता। Banner का bounding box और stacking देखें।
- हर run में banner अलग जगह है: उसके दिखाई देने की timing, scroll trigger और consent state जांचें; अपेक्षित state के लिए locator wait लगाएं।
- Screenshot बदलता रहता है: अगर वजह animation है तो
animations: "disabled"आजमाएं। अगर वजह स्थिर overlap है तो CSS layout या test state ठीक करें। - स्थानीय screenshot और snapshot अलग हैं: browser, platform, viewport, device scale और fonts में अंतर हटाकर तुलना दोहराएं।
