F1 25 is the “8/10” AAA racer highlighted in PlayStation Plus’s October 2026 Monthly Games lineup. Sony lists it alongside Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2. Members can claim the games from October 6 through November 2, 2026, though Sony says availability may vary by region.
Which games are in the October 2026 lineup?
Sony announced the three Monthly Games in a September 30, 2026 post by Adam Michel, Senior Director of Content Acquisition & Operations at Sony Interactive Entertainment. The listed platforms and play formats differ:

The “8/10” characterization comes from Gamingbible’s October 6 report, which describes F1 25 as “essentially an 8/10 score on Metacritic.” It is not a score given in Sony’s announcement, and the available information does not independently verify a Metacritic rating. When can members claim the games?
Sony’s stated claim window runs from October 6 through November 2, 2026. September’s Monthly Games remain claimable through October 5. The October titles are described as PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for members; “free games” is informal shorthand for this member benefit, not a claim that the games are available to everyone at no cost.
