Frontier describes Drops as rewards for watching designated “droppable” Twitch streams. The process has separate earning, claiming and delivery stages, so watching a stream alone does not finish the redemption.

1. Link the accounts
- Open Frontier’s Twitch Drops page.
- Sign in and connect the Twitch account you will use to watch.
- Complete any game-account or activation step shown for the live campaign. Use the account path displayed by Frontier and Twitch rather than relying on a Steam-only instruction from a community post.
2. Watch a qualifying stream
On Twitch, select a Planet Zoo 2 stream carrying the “Drops Enabled” label. Read the campaign panel for its required minutes, dates, game category and any channel restrictions. A progress indicator means Twitch is recording viewing; it does not mean the reward has already been claimed.
3. Claim the Drop on Twitch
When the campaign threshold is reached, claim the item from Twitch’s Drops notification or from Profile picture → Drops & Rewards → Inventory. Twitch’s Drops help guide treats earning and claiming as different stages. If you miss the pop-up, the Inventory page is the place to check.

4. Finish Frontier’s activation step
Some Frontier campaigns require a claim or activation action on the Frontier Drops page after Twitch shows the item as claimed. Follow the button and account prompts there. Frontier’s claiming support article explains that in-game rewards become available the next time you log in; if the game is already open, log out and back in.

- Confirm the campaign is live: A stream can discuss Planet Zoo 2 without being part of an active Drops campaign.
- Check Twitch Inventory: Verify that the required progress completed and that you pressed Claim.
- Check the linked account: Twitch must be connected to the Frontier account associated with the game. An unintended second account can send delivery to the wrong profile.
- Complete Frontier’s claim page: Twitch claiming may not trigger delivery until Frontier’s activation step is finished.
- Restart the session: Exit the game and log in again, as Frontier instructs, to trigger entitlement delivery.
- Re-read the campaign conditions: Date windows, eligible channels, regions and platform requirements are campaign-specific. Do not assume that a reported one-hour watch time applies to every promotion.
Do you need to buy Planet Zoo 2 or sign in to Twitch?
Twitch Drops require a Twitch sign-in because Twitch tracks viewing progress and claims through the account. Frontier’s general flow also requires a linked Frontier account. The available information does not show that purchasing Planet Zoo 2 is a prerequisite for earning a Drop, although the reward can only be used in the supported game account and platform.

Where to verify the final reward list

Why does Twitch show the Drop but Planet Zoo 2 does not?
Check that you claimed it in Twitch Inventory, completed any Frontier activation step, used the correct linked account and then logged out and back in to the game.
