Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?

Google says its 45W USB-C Charger or a higher-rated USB-C PPS charger can charge the phone up to 75% in about 30 minutes, but that is a manufacturer claim, not a guaranteed result. Google’s adapter is sold separately; the US Store listing includes a 1 m USB-C-to-USB-C cable.
What charger does the Pixel 11 Pro XL need?
Google specifies a 45W USB-C PPS charger or higher for the Pixel 11 Pro XL’s stated wired fast charging. PPS, or Programmable Power Supply, is the charging protocol to check; a charger’s headline wattage alone does not establish that it supports PPS. See Google’s Pixel 11 Pro and 11 Pro XL technical specifications.

Google’s specifications say the phone can reach up to 75% in about 30 minutes with that charger class. Google’s support documentation says the wired charging-rate basis is its 45W USB-C Charger connected to a wall outlet and cautions that “Actual results may be slower.” Treat the percentage and time as an up to manufacturer figure, not a promise for every charger or charging session. Google’s Pixel hardware specifications give the rate basis and qualification.
How to choose a compatible wired charger
Use these checks when comparing a charger or assessing one you already own:
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- Confirm PPS for the specific model. Check the manufacturer’s product specifications for USB-C PPS support. “USB-C” or “45W” by itself is not enough to confirm the protocol.
- Check the rated output. Google’s stated wired fast-charging class starts at 45W. A higher maximum output does not by itself prove that the charger supplies the required PPS output to the phone.
- Read the port-sharing details. If you connect a second device, the power available at the phone’s port may depend on the charger’s documented shared-output behavior. Do not assume the phone still receives the full headline wattage.
- Consider the plug and size. For travel or a crowded outlet, compare the charger’s documented plug design and dimensions rather than relying on wattage as a proxy for portability.
The clearest reference option is Google’s own 45W USB-C Charger: Google names it as the basis for its wired-rate information, and the US Store lists the adapter as sold separately. This identifies Google’s reference charger, not a comparative test winner. No named third-party model has an established performance ranking here, so a recommendation beyond the charger class requires model-specific evidence.
Will my USB-C PPS charger fast-charge a Pixel 11 Pro XL?
It may, if that exact charger model supports USB-C PPS and is rated at 45W or higher. Check its specifications for both points, then check whether using another port changes the output available to the phone. A wattage label or a general claim of USB-C fast charging cannot answer those model-specific questions by itself.

Google’s published charging figures are manufacturer specifications; they do not establish how an unverified third-party model performs. The sources cited here do not provide an independent comparative charger test for the Pixel 11 Pro XL.

No wall adapter is included in the US Google Store listing; Google says the adapter is sold separately. The same listing includes a 1 m USB-C-to-USB-C cable. The included cable means buyers do not need to assume they must replace it to connect a USB-C charger, though the listing does not establish cable performance for every charging setup. Is Pixelsnap wireless charging an alternative?
The Pixel 11 Pro XL supports Pixelsnap wireless charging certified to Qi2.2, with a published rate of up to 25W. That is a separate wireless accessory path, not a substitute for the wired 45W USB-C PPS requirement. If choosing a wireless charger or stand, verify Qi2.2/Pixelsnap compatibility and whether its power adapter is included. Google lists the wireless capability in its technical specifications.
Google’s August 12, 2026 launch announcement says the Pixel 11 Pro XL can provide 15 hours of battery life from 15 minutes of wired charging. That is Google’s launch claim, not an independently verified charging-speed result; it should not be treated as a universal estimate for a particular charger. Google’s Pixel 11 launch announcement.
