What is available for Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 8,000?
The evidence supports one named new handset in this price band: Nokia 130 (2023). HMD Global’s Pakistan product page displayed a starting price of Rs 5,999 and a “Notify me when Nokia 130 (2023) is available for purchase” prompt when accessed on October 7, 2026. HMD’s Pakistan product page therefore does not confirm that the phone is in stock. WhatMobile’s Pakistan listing displayed Rs 6,599 on the same date. Is the Nokia 130 a smartphone?
No. HMD identifies it as a feature phone running S30+, with GSM 900/1800 bands for 2G service. Those specifications do not support describing it as an Android phone, a 4G device, or a handset with mobile-data or hotspot capability. It is suited to basic calls and feature-phone functions, not app-based communication or internet access.

If your requirement is Android apps, browsing or sharing an internet connection, the documented new option here does not meet it. A used smartphone may appear within the same budget, but the available sources do not establish reliable used listings or guarantees about battery condition, repairs, warranty or registration. Do not treat an unverified used listing as an equivalent, safe substitute.
What does the Nokia 130 offer?

A MicroSD card is optional for buyers who only want calls and FM radio; it matters if you want to use the MP3 player or voice recorder. HMD specifies support up to 32 GB, so check the card’s capacity before buying.
How long does the battery last?
HMD lists a removable 1450 mAh battery and claims up to 20 hours of talk time and up to 30 days of standby. These are manufacturer-published figures, not independent test results; actual runtime depends on use and network conditions. HMD describes the phone as “Big on battery life, big on sound, big on durability,” which is the vendor’s characterization, not evidence of an independent durability test.

If you are considering an imported or otherwise unregistered device, check that specific handset’s status before purchase. These are publisher-reported market figures, not an audited count of stock or a measure of what a particular buyer can obtain. They help explain why Rs 6,000 to Rs 8,000 is a very narrow budget for a new phone, but they do not identify another verified handset in this band.

Who should buy it—and who should look elsewhere?
