What are its screen and picture specifications?
Philips specifies a 64.5-inch visible screen diagonal, an LCD QLED Ultra HD panel, and a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels. The listed HDR formats are Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG. These are format and panel specifications, not measurements of brightness, contrast, black levels, color accuracy, reflection handling, or upscaling quality.

Does the 65PUL7985 support 4K at 120 Hz?
Philips lists “120 PMR” as a picture enhancement, but its specification sheet says HDMI video input supports up to 3840 × 2160 at 60 Hz. That does not establish a native 120 Hz panel or 4K/120 input support. If you plan to connect a gaming console or PC, check that its required resolution and refresh rate fit the TV’s published input limits.

How many HDMI ports does it have, and what else can you connect?
The 65PUL7985/F7 has four HDMI inputs. HDMI 1 supports eARC/ARC. Other listed connections are one USB 2.0 input, Ethernet, 802.11ac wireless LAN, an antenna input, composite video input, a headphone output, and a digital optical output. Philips lists HDMI computer input up to 4096 × 2160 at 60 Hz and video input up to 3840 × 2160 at 60 Hz.
What operating system and audio features are listed?
The TV runs Roku OS. Philips lists Dolby Atmos, stereo, and SAP audio, delivered through two built-in speakers. Those specifications do not indicate measured loudness, dialogue clarity, or sound quality. The sheet also names AAC, AC3/EAC3, H.264/AVC, H.265/HEVC, JPG, MP3, PCM, PNG, and GIF among its USB playback formats.

What is Ambilight, and what can be said about it here?
The 65PUL7985/F7 is specified as an Ambilight television. As general context, TechRadar described Ambilight on a Philips Roku TV as rear lighting that follows on-screen action in its October 1, 2025 article. That article is not an exact-model test of the 65PUL7985/F7, so it does not establish how this set’s lighting looks or whether it changes the viewing experience.

How large and heavy is it, and what wall mount fits?
Philips lists dimensions of 56.9 × 32.9 × 3.5 inches without the stand and 56.9 × 35.3 × 11.8 inches with the stand. Listed weights are 31.3 lb without the stand and 33.5 lb with it. The stand feet span 49.7 inches, so check the usable width of the furniture rather than relying only on the TV’s overall width.

Confirm that a mount supports this pattern and the television’s weight, and check the mount manufacturer’s fit and hardware requirements before installation. Philips lists two stand feet, screws, a remote and batteries, and quick-install/start guides in the box.

Philips lists 186 W power consumption and below 0.5 W standby consumption; these are manufacturer specifications, not independent energy-use measurements.
