Phantom Blade Zero is announced for Windows PC and PlayStation 5, with a current global release date of October 29, 2026. S-GAME has named Steam and the Epic Games Store for PC. Xbox has not been announced in the official platform information reviewed, although that is not the same as a permanent Xbox exclusion.
The date was moved from September 9 to October 29 so the team could make further improvements and polish. A regional Steam page displays October 28, but S-GAME’s global announcement and the PlayStation listing use October 29.

Phantom Blade Zero platforms at a glance
| Platform | Official status | Store or edition information |
|---|---|---|
| PC | Confirmed | Windows 10/11 64-bit; Steam and Epic Games Store announced |
| PlayStation 5 | Confirmed | PlayStation Store lists Standard and Digital Deluxe editions; PS5 Pro enhancement listed |
| Xbox Series X|S | Not announced in the official information reviewed | No Xbox store listing or Xbox launch date identified |
The safest way to read that table is that PC and PS5 are the announced launch platforms. It does not establish permanent PlayStation exclusivity, and it does not prove that an Xbox edition will never be made.

Is Phantom Blade Zero coming to PC?
Yes. S-GAME’s launch-platform announcement names PC alongside PlayStation 5, and specifically identifies Steam and the Epic Games Store as PC storefronts. Steam’s listing describes a Windows release and publishes minimum hardware requirements.

Which PC storefronts will sell it?
The announced storefronts are Steam and the Epic Games Store. No other PC launcher is established by the official platform information covered here. If you prefer one storefront for achievements, friends, refunds or an existing library, that preference can determine where you buy; the game itself is still the same announced PC release.
Will the PC version release on the same day?
The platform announcement treats PC and PS5 as launch platforms, and the current global date supplied by S-GAME is October 29, 2026. There is no separate PC delay or staggered PC date identified in the official information reviewed.
Is Phantom Blade Zero coming to PS5?
Yes. The PlayStation Store lists Phantom Blade Zero for PS5, including a PS5 Pro enhancement. PlayStation Blog also quotes S-GAME founder and CEO Soulframe Liang: “Until then, Phantom Blade Zero launches on October 29, 2026, and is available to pre-order now on PlayStation 5.”
PS5 editions and prices
The US PlayStation Store displays two editions:
| Edition | US price displayed during the October 2026 research check | Availability |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Edition | $59.99 | PS5 digital listing |
| Digital Deluxe Edition | $69.99 | PS5 digital listing |
Those are the prices shown on the US store at the time checked, not a guarantee of the price in another country or on launch day. Store prices, taxes, discounts and edition contents can change. The available material confirms the two edition names and displayed prices but does not provide a complete item-by-item breakdown of the Digital Deluxe package.

PS5 features
The PlayStation listing identifies one-player play and support for DualSense vibration and trigger effects. Those features are part of the PS5 listing; they do not mean a separate controller is required, and the platform information does not establish that every feature will be identical on PC.
Is Phantom Blade Zero coming to Xbox?
Xbox has not been announced in the official platform information reviewed. S-GAME’s platform announcement names PlayStation 5, Steam and the Epic Games Store, while the PlayStation and Steam listings likewise identify PS5 and PC rather than Xbox.
That wording matters. “Not announced” describes the evidence currently available; it is not a statement that an Xbox version is permanently ruled out. There is no confirmed Xbox release date, pre-order page, technical specification or store listing to use for planning a purchase. Xbox owners should therefore treat the game as unavailable on Xbox unless S-GAME later publishes a specific announcement.

Why was the date changed?
In a developer letter, Soulframe, identified as S-GAME CEO and creator of Phantom Blade Zero, explained that the team wanted additional time to improve and polish the game. The letter says: “we do not want to release Phantom Blade Zero knowing there is still an opportunity to take it one step further.” That is the developer’s stated reason for the move; it does not identify a new technical problem, platform cancellation or content cut.
Why does Steam show October 28?
A regional Steam page accessed during the check displays October 28, 2026. The available sources do not explain whether that one-day difference reflects local time-zone handling, a regional storefront setting or another publishing convention. Because S-GAME’s global announcement and the PlayStation Store use October 29, use October 29 as the worldwide date. If your local Steam page shows October 28, rely on the launch countdown and release time displayed for your account region when planning to play.
PC system requirements
Steam lists the following minimum configuration for Windows:
| Component | Minimum listed requirement | What the listing says |
|---|---|---|
| Operating system | Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit | 64-bit Windows required |
| Processor | Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 | Minimum CPU tier |
| Memory | 16 GB RAM | Minimum system memory |
| Graphics | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT 8GB | Minimum GPU tier and memory capacities |
| Storage | SSD installation required | Do not plan on installing to a mechanical hard drive |
| Target noted by Steam | 1080p at 30 frames per second | Upscaling enabled |
These are minimum specifications, not a promise of high settings, 60 frames per second or a particular resolution on every system. The 1080p/30 FPS note is tied to upscaling being enabled. An SSD is a stated requirement, so a computer that meets the CPU and GPU lines but uses only a hard disk still does not meet the published minimum installation guidance.

How to check a PC before buying
- Open Windows Settings, select System, then About, and note the processor and installed RAM.
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager, choose Performance, and check the GPU model and storage drive type.
- Compare those parts with Steam’s current Phantom Blade Zero requirements, not only the values listed in an older article or screenshot.
- Confirm that the intended installation drive is an SSD and that Windows is 64-bit.
- Leave free space beyond the eventual download size; the supplied listing specifies the drive type but does not establish a final install-size figure.
S-GAME can change requirements as development finishes. Check the live Steam page close to launch before purchasing or upgrading hardware.

Choose PC if you already have a compatible Windows gaming system or want the choice between Steam and Epic. Choose PS5 if you want a fixed-console setup and the listed DualSense features without checking individual PC components. Neither option is described as multiplayer in the official listings reviewed: Steam and PlayStation identify the game as single-player or one-player.
What kind of game is Phantom Blade Zero?
PlayStation describes Phantom Blade Zero as a fusion of classic wuxia storytelling and action powered by Unreal Engine 5. Steam categorizes it as an action RPG and lists single-player. Those descriptions explain the intended format, but they should not be read as a promise of a particular combat system, online mode or performance level beyond what each platform listing explicitly states.

What to verify before launch
- Confirm that the store page still shows October 29, 2026 for your region and note any local release-time information.
- On PC, recheck the live Steam requirements for changes to supported Windows versions, processors, graphics cards, memory, storage or performance targets.
- On PS5, confirm the current Standard and Digital Deluxe prices in your country; the cited $59.99 and $69.99 figures are US prices captured at one point in time.
- If you are waiting for Xbox, look for an explicit S-GAME announcement or an official Xbox store listing rather than inferring availability from rumors or the absence of a date.
- Keep in mind that pre-order status, offers and edition contents can change before release.
Bottom line
Phantom Blade Zero is officially headed to PC and PS5 on October 29, 2026. PC players will find it on Steam and the Epic Games Store, while PS5 players have Standard and Digital Deluxe listings, PS5 Pro enhancement and DualSense support. Xbox has not been announced in the official platform information reviewed, so an Xbox launch cannot be treated as confirmed—but the current evidence also does not establish permanent exclusion.
