Choose NordVPN if you want a larger set of currently documented features and a provider that reports repeated independent reviews of its no-logs policy. This is a conditional comparison: current Perfect Privacy pricing and official confirmation of several reported features were not established, so the available evidence does not support a universal winner or a fair value verdict.

Which service has stronger privacy evidence?
NordVPN’s reported reviews
NordVPN states, “We do not track what you do online — it’s none of our business.” That is the company’s description of its policy, not independent proof by itself. NordVPN says the policy has been reviewed six times, with PwC conducting the first two reviews and Deloitte the later reviews. Its Trust Center says the policy was first verified in 2018 and verified four more times afterward. These are NordVPN’s own summaries; they should not be confused with direct inspection of the full reports.

What is established about Perfect Privacy
The available 2026 review result reports that Perfect Privacy has no independent audit. Because the review page could not be directly inspected and no official audit documentation was available here, treat that as a reported finding, not a complete account of the provider’s current disclosures. If an independent review is a deciding factor, check for current, publicly accessible audit documentation before subscribing.

Port forwarding and multi-hop: the practical differences
When port forwarding matters
Port forwarding can let an outside connection reach a specific device or service behind a VPN connection. It may matter for some peer-to-peer or self-hosted setups, but requirements vary by application, network and threat model. The Perfect Privacy review result reports port forwarding; NordVPN’s lack of support, according to Tom’s Guide, makes it a poor fit if your setup specifically requires that feature. Confirm Perfect Privacy’s current implementation and restrictions with the provider before relying on it.
Choosing a multi-hop setup
Perfect Privacy’s review result reports multi-hop routing and NeuroRouting. NordVPN lists Double VPN, which routes traffic through two VPN servers. These descriptions do not establish that the services offer identical controls or routing behavior. If you need to select particular hops or use a specific routing design, verify the current app controls and server restrictions with the provider rather than assuming that “multi-hop” means the same thing in both services.

Apps, protocols and server network
The Perfect Privacy review result reports no WireGuard support. NordVPN lists NordLynx, its WireGuard-based protocol, and NordWhisper in its Trust Center. It also lists Double VPN and RAM-only servers. NordVPN’s Trust Center reports more than 7,100 servers across 225 locations; these are its published figures, not a third-party network count. Check each provider’s current app and platform support if a particular device or protocol is essential.
What do the plans cost?
Tom’s Guide lists NordVPN at $3.49 per month for a two-year plan, $5.49 per month for a one-year plan and $14.99 for one month. These are US-facing review prices, not guaranteed checkout offers. The monthly equivalents for multi-year plans should not be mistaken for monthly billing: confirm the total charged upfront, renewal price, billing period, region and plan terms at checkout.
