What Percy counts as a screenshot
Percy’s usage unit is a rendered page or component in a particular browser and responsive-width combination. In the official documentation’s example, capturing two pages across two browsers and three widths consumes 12 screenshots, even though the interface displays two snapshots. A test case or snapshot card therefore does not necessarily equal one billable screenshot. See the usage explanation in Percy’s documentation.
Before estimating usage, count the render combinations your test configuration creates: pages or components multiplied by browser choices and responsive widths. Add the resulting screenshot usage across the month, then compare it with the allowance for the plan and quota selection you intend to buy.

What happens when you exceed the allowance?
Percy documentation says usage beyond the included monthly allowance is treated as overage and charged at the applicable rate; excess usage does not necessarily stop automatically. The current pricing page displays a per-additional-screenshot rate, but the available figure can depend on the selected plan and quota. Check the live pricing selector for the rate applicable to your selection rather than relying on a generic overage number. See plans and billing.

Consider Desktop & Mobile for real mobile-browser coverage
The displayed Desktop & Mobile selection is $599 per month billed annually for 25,000 screenshots monthly. Its distinguishing coverage is real mobile-browser testing, so compare it with Desktop based on whether that coverage is needed as well as on screenshot volume.
