Pebble Round 2: production is underway, but delivery is still an expectation
The roundup says the Pebble Round 2 is in production and that preorder customers are expected to receive their watches by the end of 2026. That is a reported forecast, not confirmation that every order has shipped or will arrive by a particular date. The article does not establish current stock, price, or an updated shipping status.

What changes from the original
The Round 2 is described as having an improved display and a touchscreen, features that distinguish it from the original model. Its software is still a work in progress, so the hardware updates should not be taken as evidence that every feature or software detail is final.
Water resistance remains a trade-off
The roundup cautions that the Round 2 is less water resistant than other Pebble watches. Buyers comparing it with an existing Pebble should treat water resistance as a meaningful difference rather than assume the new model matches the durability of the broader line.

DroidDeck: Steam Big Picture on selected Android devices
DroidDeck aims to bring a SteamOS-like setup to Android, including Steam Big Picture support on handhelds and phones using Snapdragon chips. The roundup says version 0.3.0 improves Steam Deck controller emulation, which may make controls behave more like a Steam Deck in supported setups.

That description is not a compatibility list: the roundup does not establish support for every Android handheld, phone, or processor. Owners should verify their specific device and setup rather than assume that Android alone is sufficient.
Googlebooks: Android-based laptops may have app compatibility differences
The roundup describes Googlebooks as laptops running a desktop operating system based on Android. It warns that app and game compatibility can vary with processor architecture. Some apps may work only on Arm models at launch, in part because many Android apps were made for Arm-based smartphones.

This does not mean that all apps fail on x86 Googlebooks. The report says some apps and games may encounter issues; it does not provide a device-by-device compatibility table or identify which titles are affected. If a particular app or game is essential, confirm its support for the specific Googlebook model and processor before relying on it.

The roundup reports that Googlebooks have unlockable bootloaders and that Magisk developer John Wu, who now works at Google, said installation instructions were coming soon. That is a report of forthcoming guidance—not proof that a complete, working installation guide is already available. Readers should wait for model-specific instructions and avoid treating bootloader unlockability as a guarantee that Magisk will work on every Googlebook.
