The guides we reviewed converge on Colors for Tomorrow as her Light Cone, Dreamlit Actor as her Relic set, and a Healing Bonus body, Speed boots, a DEF% sphere, and an Energy Regeneration Rate rope. The one slot without consensus is the Planar Ornament. HSR Build prefers Sprightly Vonwacq, while Beebom prefers Broken Keel, so the right pick depends on what your team needs. This guide covers each slot, the reasoning behind each choice, team compositions, and free-to-play substitutes.
Pearl’s role in a team
Pearl is a 5-star Ice character on the Elation path. The guides we reviewed describe her as a support and sustain unit whose kit scales with DEF, which is why the build leans on DEF% and Healing Bonus rather than pure damage stats. HSR Build lists her Ultimate cost at 180 Energy (HSR Build, 2026). Her team value comes from Elation characters, so she is most useful when the rest of the team is built around Elation synergy, not as a standalone damage dealer.

Best Light Cone for Pearl
Colors for Tomorrow (recommended)
HSR Build names Colors for Tomorrow as the closest fit for Pearl’s kit. Its ranking is based on kit scaling arithmetic rather than playtested damage comparisons, so treat it as a reasoned recommendation, not a measured result. Beebom also recommends it.
#1 Best Overall
- Honkai: Star Rail Light Cone Series Flowing Acrylic Stand - A Grounded Ascent
Free-to-play and alternative Light Cones
If you do not own Colors for Tomorrow, Prydwen identifies Mushy Shroomy’s Adventures at Superimposition 5 as its free-to-play option. Beebom lists two further alternatives: Until the Flowers Bloom Again and Elation Brimming With Blessings. Those are reasonable stand-ins when you lack the recommended cone, but none of the guides ranks them above Colors for Tomorrow. None of these rankings is an official HoYoverse ranking.
Best Relics for Pearl
Dreamlit Actor is the Relic set recommended by both HSR Build and Beebom. Its effects, as HSR Build describes them, are:
Rank #2
- Honkai: Star Rail Light Cone Series Flowing Glitter Acrylic Stand - Whereabouts Should Dreams Rest
- 2-piece bonus: 6% SPD.
- 4-piece bonus: when the wearer uses a Skill or Ultimate on one other ally target, that ally gains Elation. At 10 or more Certified Banger, the effect also grants CRIT DMG to all ally targets for three turns.
Beebom names Diviner of Distant Reach and Eagle of Twilight Line as alternative sets. Use them if you lack Dreamlit Actor, keeping in mind that the guides do not rank these alternatives against it in detail.

Best Planar Ornament for Pearl
This is the one slot where the guides disagree. Both options are defensible, and they solve different problems:
Rank #3
- Honkai: Star Rail Light Cone Series Flowing Glitter Acrylic Stand - Inherently Unjust Destiny
| Planar Ornament | Recommended by | Stated benefit | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sprightly Vonwacq | HSR Build (primary pick) | 5% Energy Regeneration Rate and a 40% opening action advance at 120+ SPD | Teams that need faster Energy and an earlier first action |
| Broken Keel | Beebom (primary pick) | Effect RES and team CRIT DMG | Teams that need Effect RES resistance or a shared CRIT DMG buff |
Compare the two by asking which problem your team actually has. If Pearl’s Energy generation or early action is the bottleneck, Sprightly Vonwacq addresses that directly. If Effect RES or team-wide CRIT DMG is missing, Broken Keel is the better fit. The guides do not establish a single universal winner.
Main stats and substats
Beebom recommends the following main stats, and HSR Build lists the same ones:
- Body: Healing Bonus
- Boots: SPD
- Sphere: DEF%
- Rope: Energy Regeneration Rate (ERR%)
HSR Build ranks DEF% above SPD as a substat priority. Beebom suggests the following numeric targets:
Free tools Windows power users keep installed
One-click scans. No signup required.
- At least 50% Effect RES (Beebom, 2026).
- Approximately 4,000–5,000 DEF (Beebom, 2026).
- 160+ SPD, ideally 180 (Beebom, 2026).
These are guide recommendations for tuning, not official thresholds that the game requires. Treat them as goals to approach as your gear improves, not as cutoffs your team fails without.

Team compositions
Pearl’s team should be built around Elation. The compositions below appear in the guides and are listed by source:
| Team | Source | Members |
|---|---|---|
| Lead team | HSR Build | Pearl, Silver Wolf LV.999, Aventurine • Waveflair, Yao Guang |
| Alternate team | HSR Build | Pearl, Evanescia, Elation Trailblazer, Yao Guang |
| Core team | Beebom | Silver Wolf LV.999, Yao Guang, Elation Trailblazer, Pearl |
| Variants | Beebom | Sparxie in place of a support slot, or Aventurine • Waveflair, Mortenax Blade, and Ashveil |
Choose the carry, support, or sustain slots based on which characters you own and which role you are missing. Evanescia and Aventurine • Waveflair are the carry options the guides name most often.
What is established and what is not
- Established by the guides: Colors for Tomorrow, Dreamlit Actor, and the main stat layout are consistent across the reviewed sources.
- Disputed: the Planar Ornament choice. Sprightly Vonwacq and Broken Keel each have a published case.
- Not established: measured damage output. HSR Build states that its Light Cone ranking is kit arithmetic, not playtested data.
- Unreliable details: EarlyGG (September 28, 2026) reports Version 4.6 and a release date of September 27, 2026, but it notes that its free-to-play materials and several gear details are not stated in official materials. Do not rely on its speculative gear picks. See EarlyGG, HSR Pearl Build Guide.
