Pauline Hanson’s One Nation Victoria campaign has had two public milestones: a leadership and candidate launch announced in August, followed by a policy launch on 3 October 2026. The October event put law and order at the centre of the party’s pitch for the Victorian state election on 28 November.
Two campaign milestones: August and October
One Nation Victoria said on 4 August that Hanson had launched the campaign “yesterday,” placing that event on 3 August. It announced Warren Pickering as the party’s Victorian state leader and unveiled upper-house candidates. The party’s broader campaign themes included law and order, cost of living, energy affordability and reliability, housing, health and education. One Nation Victoria’s 4 August announcement

The later event, reported by ABC News on 3 October, was a policy launch. The party presented a 63-page policy booklet to supporters; ABC estimated roughly 750 people attended. The figure is the broadcaster’s approximate count, not an audited attendance total. ABC News report on the October event

Law and order was the centerpiece of the October policy announcement, according to ABC. Pickering told the broadcaster: “The policy that I’m most proud of, and probably the most important to Victoria, is our crime policy.” The measures below are campaign proposals, not changes already in force.

Political responses to the launch
Victorian government minister Nick Staikos rejected the prospect of cooperation, telling ABC: “We don’t share anything in common with that party, we will not be making deals with that party.” Opposition Leader Jess Wilson said voters wanting a change of government should elect a Liberal and Nationals government. These are statements from political opponents, not evidence of a shared response across Victoria’s parties or voters. ABC News report
