Path of Titans server commands are entered in the in-game text chat, then run with Enter. Everyone can use the general commands, while teleport, player-stat, moderation and server-management commands require a role with the corresponding permission. Commands also work in Spectator Mode. The official Alderon Games Hosting Wiki is the authority to check when a command name, argument or permission mapping changes.
For a hosted Path of Titans server, Godlike.Host provides a Pterodactyl-based game panel, free DDoS protection, a personal firewall, and up to three free backups a day with restore. Not on Alderon Games’ list of Path of Titans server providers (alderongames.com, 11 Oct 2026).

How to run a Path of Titans command
Log in to the server, open text chat, type the command beginning with /, and press Enter. A command can be used from normal play or Spectator Mode. Names shown as <Username/AGID> mean you supply either the player’s name or Alderon Games ID. Parenthesized values are optional in the reference; omitting them uses the command’s default behavior.
- Use the exact slash command and argument order.
- Put a reason or message in the position shown by the command syntax.
- Grant only the permissions needed for a person’s job. A role normally uses the command name as its permission unless the documentation specifies a different mapping.
- Test a high-impact command on a non-critical situation first; kicks, bans, stat changes and mass teleports affect other players immediately.
For example, /teleport performs a safe teleport by default. Supplying the documented unsafe option disables that safety check, so use it only when you understand the destination and the risk of spawning inside terrain or another hazardous location.

Teleport commands
Teleport commands can move yourself, another player, a group, or everyone to coordinates, a point of interest (POI), or another player’s location. The safe default should be your normal choice; use the documented unsafe form only when a safe destination check prevents a deliberate operation.
| Syntax | What it does |
|---|---|
/teleport (coordinates) |
Teleport yourself to coordinates. |
/teleport <user> (coordinates) |
Teleport a specified player to coordinates. |
/teleport <Username/AGID> <Username/AGID> |
Teleport one player to another player’s position. |
/teleport <POIname> |
Teleport yourself to a named POI. |
/teleport <Username/AGID> <POIname> |
Teleport a player to a named POI. |
/bring <Username/AGID> |
Bring one player to your position. |
/goto <location> |
Go to a location. |
/teleportall <POIname> or /teleportall (coordinates) |
Move all players to a POI or coordinates. |
/bringall |
Bring all players to your position. |
Use /listpoi from the administrative command set to discover available point-of-interest names before using a POI destination.
Marks, health, attributes and growth
These commands alter progression or survival state. A server should decide which roles may use them, because an unrestricted role can change every player’s progression.

Character creation
The character command is:
/createcharacter [AlderonId] [CharacterName] [DinosaurType] [Growth] [Marks]
The current documentation supports this command only for Local Databases. Remote Database support is planned for a future update, so a remote-database server should not be expected to accept it.
Moderation and server-administration commands

How to add yourself or another person as a server admin
Game.ini method: best for initial or offline setup
- Stop the server. Do not edit the file while the server is writing its configuration.
- Open
Game.iniand locate the section[/Script/PathOfTitans.IGameSession]. - Add one line for each administrator, using the person’s Alderon Games ID:
ServerAdmins=<Alderon Games ID> - Save the file.
- Restart the server. The new administrator entries take effect after the restart.
Use one ServerAdmins= line per administrator rather than combining IDs on one line. Keep the file backup available so an accidental edit can be reversed.
In-game method: change permissions while the server runs
When you already have the required permission, run /promote <user> <adminrole> to assign a role or /demote <user> to remove it. This is useful for a temporary moderator or an emergency change because it does not require stopping the server. Confirm the role name and the target’s username or Alderon Games ID before executing it.
Best Value
“Please only give these permissions to a role/user that you can trust. You will be responsible for the consequence of misuse of these commands on your server.”
Choosing chat commands, Game.ini or the REST API/RCON
| Method | Manual or automated | Permission and audit considerations | Does the server stop? | Main risk or requirement |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| In-game chat | Manual, immediate action by an authorized player. | Role permissions; command use is visible in the game context but is less suited to centralized auditing. | No. | Expose only trusted roles; syntax and permissions must match the current build. |
Game.ini |
Manual file administration, suitable for bulk or offline setup. | Administrator IDs are explicit in configuration; changes are easy to review as file edits. | Yes. Stop before editing and restart afterward. | Protect the file and use the correct game-session section. |
| REST API/RCON | Automatable from a dashboard, script or service. | Bearer API keys can be permission-scoped; external systems can add their own logs. | Normally no for supported live operations. | Use Authorization: Bearer <ApiKey>, protect the key, and enable generic RCON only when required. |
REST API and RCON administration
The official REST API is an HTTP/JSON administration interface for external tools. Its documented areas include command discovery, server information, save, restart, RCON, player management, moderation and related endpoints. Requests authenticate with a permission-scoped bearer key:
Authorization: Bearer <ApiKey>
For generic RCON, the server must have bAllowGenericCommand=true. Treat the API key like a password: limit its permissions, keep it out of public scripts and logs, rotate it if exposed, and avoid granting generic command access when a narrower endpoint is sufficient.

- “Unknown command” or no response: check the leading slash, spelling and capitalization. Commands such as
/Weatherand/TimeOfDayshould be entered exactly as documented. - Permission denied: verify that your role includes the command’s current permission mapping. Having a server-admin ID in
Game.inidoes not remove the need to restart after editing. - Target not found: use the exact username or Alderon Games ID;
/listplayerscan confirm who is connected. - Teleport behaves unexpectedly: use a named POI from
/listpoior a known coordinate, and keep the safe teleport behavior unless an intentional unsafe move is necessary. - Character creation fails: confirm that the server uses a Local Database; the documented command does not currently support Remote Database servers.
- API or RCON request fails: check the bearer-key scope, the server build’s supported endpoint, and whether
bAllowGenericCommand=trueis enabled for generic RCON.
Because command availability and permissions can change with server updates, verify the exact syntax in the current official command reference before delegating a role or automating a destructive operation.
