As of October 2026, two parallax templates can be confirmed from their own official Framer listings: LUMIÈRE cinematic and FAR ENOUGH. Both describe parallax and scroll-driven motion in their own feature text. This guide does not present a list of 23 templates, because the sources checked do not confirm each name, its smooth-scroll behavior, or its current price. Instead, it covers the two confirmed examples, the Webflow parallax catalog as a discovery source, and a method for checking any parallax template before you buy or adopt it.
The two confirmed picks
LUMIÈRE cinematic (Framer, paid)
LUMIÈRE is a cinematic portfolio template aimed at photography studios, creative agencies, and visual storytellers. Its Framer listing describes smooth-scroll interactions, parallax effects, image reveals, animated project cards, and transitions. It is built around Framer CMS collections for Works and Journal, and it includes project and portfolio pages, services, studio, team, journal, and contact content. The listing describes responsive design, but its breakpoints and reduced-motion handling are not stated there, so check both in the preview.

Pricing needs a live check. A search result displayed $59 for the template, but that figure may have changed, and the single-use license terms should be read on the listing itself before purchase. The official listing is at framer.com/marketplace/templates/lumi-re-cinematic.

FAR ENOUGH (Framer, free)
FAR ENOUGH is a minimalist luxury-travel template for boutique travel studios, villas, retreats, safari camps, and travel journals. Its listing highlights a parallax masonry grid, scroll-reveal text, sticky stacking cards, and smooth page transitions. It is one of the few confirmed examples whose listing explicitly describes a reduced-motion fallback for every animation, which matters if you plan to keep motion restrained for visitors who prefer less of it.
The template is listed as free, with a limited license. The listing states it was published and updated on October 2, 2026. Read the license terms before using it for a client project or a commercial site, because a free listing does not automatically mean unrestricted use. The official listing is at framer.com/marketplace/templates/far-enough.

Webflow’s parallax catalog as a starting point
Webflow maintains a parallax-filtered template catalog at webflow.com/templates/search/parallax. It shows template names, listing dates, page or layout types, and prices, which makes it a practical place to build a shortlist. The filter, however, only means a template is tagged for parallax. It does not confirm that the template has smooth scrolling, so open each listing and its preview before you add it. The catalog includes paid options, and prices and availability change, so record what you see with the date you checked it.
Parallax, scroll-linked motion, and smooth scrolling are different things
Search results often blur these terms. When you evaluate a template, look for which of the following it actually shows:
The Tool Desk
Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Rank #2
- Parallax layers: background and foreground elements move at different speeds as the page scrolls.
- Scroll-triggered reveals: text, images, or cards animate in when they enter the viewport.
- Pinned or sticky sections: content holds in place while the visitor scrolls past it, then releases.
- Smooth page transitions: movement between pages or sections is animated rather than instant.
- Smooth scrolling: the scroll itself is eased. Some templates use this; others do not, even when they use parallax.
A template can be labeled “parallax” and still have none of the scroll-easing behavior that the phrase “smooth scrolling” suggests. Only the listing text or the preview can settle that question.
Platforms and how parallax is built
Framer and Webflow are visual builders, and both listings show motion features as part of the template. Creative Bloq’s guide, dated March 24, 2026, describes parallax techniques including fixed backgrounds and scroll-triggered motion, and lists several implementation paths:
Rank #3
- CSS for simple fixed backgrounds and transform-based effects.
- JavaScript libraries, such as GSAP with its ScrollTrigger plugin, for scroll-linked animation.
- Builder-level controls, which are available in visual platforms.
The same guide states that Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Elementor, Divi, and Avada have parallax or scroll-triggered motion capabilities. Those platform capabilities can change, so confirm the current documentation for any platform before you rely on a specific feature. Matching a template to your site
- Portfolio or creative agency with a growing project list: LUMIÈRE’s CMS collections for Works and Journal are the clearest fit among the confirmed examples.
- Travel, hospitality, or retreat site: FAR ENOUGH matches the listed use cases and includes a reduced-motion fallback.
- Any other niche: start from the Webflow catalog and check the page types and motion description on each listing against your needs.
Restraint and reduced motion
Smooth, heavy motion is not a usability benefit for every visitor. Creative Bloq cautions that excessive movement can interfere with navigation, and it recommends limiting effects or giving users a way to turn heavy parallax off. Motion that looks polished in a preview can also make text hard to read or make a menu hard to reach on a small screen.

Two checks help here. First, look for an explicit reduced-motion fallback in the listing. Second, test the template with the operating system setting turned on. On Windows 11, open Settings > Accessibility > Visual effects and turn off Animation effects. On macOS, open System Settings > Accessibility > Display and turn on Reduce motion. Then reload the preview and confirm that the parallax and reveal effects are reduced or removed, and that the page still works.

- Open the live listing and confirm that the parallax or smooth-scroll claim appears in its feature description or preview.
- Scroll the preview at a phone-width viewport. Check that pinned sections release, that text stays readable, and that navigation remains usable.
- Look for a reduced-motion fallback in the listing, then confirm it with the operating-system setting described above.
- Compare the CMS and page list against what your site will need in six to twelve months, not only at launch.
- Read the license. Confirm whether it covers one site or several, client work, and commercial use.
- Check the live price and update policy, then note the date you checked them, since both can change.
Use this checklist on every template you consider, including the two confirmed examples above.
