Whether a particular dish fits still depends on its dimensions and on clearance around it; check your own cookware against the cavity measurements below.

Panasonic says the usable cooking area is comparable to that of its conventional 44L microwave with a 380 mm turntable. That is the manufacturer’s comparison, not an independently measured equivalence in capacity or cooking results. The 27L cavity specification remains the model’s stated capacity.

The listed cooking output and power consumption describe different things: 1000 W is the microwave cooking output, while 850 W is the stated power consumption. The 326 × 529 × 422 mm figures are exterior dimensions, so allow for the space and access your installation requires rather than treating them as a complete clearance guide. Panasonic’s manual should be consulted for setup and safety instructions.
What do the presets and inverter claim mean?
The 17 menu categories cover chocolate, butter, cheese, ice cream, reheating bread, vegetables, frozen vegetables, jacket potatoes, root vegetables, steamed fish, chicken pieces, rice, risotto, pasta, instant noodles, fruit and pudding. Panasonic also lists three-stage cooking, a child lock and turbo defrost in the manual.

Panasonic describes its inverter technology as providing consistent, precise power control and says it supports dedicated soften and melt functions. That is the manufacturer’s description; the available material does not independently demonstrate superior results or establish how evenly the model heats food.
Can it be installed with a trim kit?
Panasonic Australia lists NN-TK510FSQP in stainless steel, NN-TK510FBQP in black and NN-TK510FWQP in white as trim-kit options. A trim kit is not stated to be included with the microwave. There is an important qualification: Panasonic’s manual labels trim kits “Australia and New Zealand only,” and its technical table lists NN-SF57QS as having no kit while pairing kits with other models. The product page and manual therefore do not provide an unambiguous installation confirmation for this exact model.

Before buying a kit or planning a built-in installation, ask Panasonic or a qualified installer to confirm compatibility for the full model number, your region, cabinet opening and required clearances. Do not assume a listed kit makes the microwave suitable for any cabinet.
Cleaning and care
Panasonic’s 2024 manual says to clean the flat table after it has cooled, using mild detergent, and wipe it dry. It also instructs owners to clean the oven regularly and remove food deposits. Avoid harsh detergents and abrasives, keep water out of ventilation openings, do not use a steam cleaner and unplug the oven before cleaning. The manual warns that a dirty oven may deteriorate and create a hazardous situation.
