A 39-year-old Palm Coast man was arrested on a felony warrant after allegedly stopping payments on a leased PlayStation 5 and not returning it, according to an October 6, 2026, report by Observer Local News. The report describes the allegation as “Failure to redeliver leased equipment.” An arrest is not a conviction, and the report does not state a court outcome or sentence.
What the report says happened
Reporter Rich Carroll’s account attributes the case details to a Flagler County Sheriff’s Office report. An employee at a Palm Coast business reportedly tried to contact the man about payments on the leased console. The man allegedly became verbally abusive and said “the game console is gone” and “do what you got to do,” according to the article.

The article says deputies went to a home on Rosepetal Lane to serve the warrant. A family member initially told them the man was not home and shut the door, but a deputy reportedly saw him inside. After deputies knocked repeatedly for more than 10 minutes, the man came to the door and was taken into custody without incident. These details are reported by Observer Local News and have not been independently corroborated here.
