OPPO’s India Reno16 series also includes the distinct Reno16c; its specifications are not interchangeable with the Reno16 5G. What is the price difference in India?
There is no verified current price difference to calculate from the official India information cited here. OPPO’s product page lists the Reno16 5G at ₹66,999 for 8GB+256GB and ₹72,999 for 12GB+256GB, with those figures stated as correct on 31 August 2026. The vivo India specification page reviewed lists the V70 FE’s 8GB+128GB configuration but no price. Because the storage configurations differ and a vivo price is missing, comparing the OPPO figures with an unverified retailer listing would not establish a dependable like-for-like gap. Check both phones’ local out-the-door prices and exact storage before buying; retail prices can change.

OPPO’s launch announcement reported original launch prices of ₹61,999 for 8GB+256GB and ₹67,999 for 12GB+256GB. Those are launch figures, not the later prices on OPPO’s product page, so they should not be mixed when assessing a current purchase.
Which phone’s camera setup fits your needs?
Choose Reno16 for dedicated focal-length coverage
The Reno16 combines a 50MP main camera with a dedicated 50MP 3.5× telephoto portrait camera and a 50MP ultra-wide. That gives it a distinct camera module for longer-range framing as well as a higher-resolution ultra-wide than the V70 FE’s listed 8MP wide-angle camera. OPPO’s launch announcement says the Reno16 can record 4K 60fps HDR across three focal lengths.

Consider V70 FE for its stabilized high-resolution main camera
The V70 FE pairs a 200MP OIS main camera with an 8MP 120° wide-angle camera and a 50MP autofocus selfie camera. Optical image stabilization is specified for the main camera; the published specifications do not establish that the 200MP sensor produces better photos than the Reno16’s cameras.

Screen size, battery and portability
The V70 FE has the larger screen: 6.83 inches versus 6.32 inches on the Reno16. Both are AMOLED panels with refresh rates up to 120Hz. The vivo display also lists a higher pixel resolution, while the stated brightness values are measured under different labels and should not be treated as a direct result in a shared test.
vivo lists a 7000mAh typical battery and 90W FlashCharge for the V70 FE; OPPO lists 6700mAh typical and 80W SUPERVOOC for the Reno16. Capacity and charging wattage alone do not establish battery runtime or time to full charge. vivo notes that actual charging depends on conditions and use of its standard charger; neither cited source supplies a controlled head-to-head endurance or charging-time result.

At about 182g, the Reno16 is lighter than the V70 FE, which is listed at 200g in Monsoon Blue and 202g in Northern Lights Purple. Its smaller display and lower listed weight make it the more compact choice on published specifications; try the phones in person if one-handed handling is a deciding factor.

Durability, software and checks before buying
The listed resistance ratings differ: OPPO specifies IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K for the Reno16, while vivo specifies IP68 and IP69 for the V70 FE. These ratings describe tested resistance, not permanent waterproofing or immunity to damage. vivo explicitly warns that resistance to splashes, water and dust is not permanent and may decrease with daily use. Follow each manufacturer’s conditions and warranty terms rather than treating a rating as permission to expose a phone to water.

The listed software is ColorOS 16 on the Reno16 and OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 on the V70 FE. Before paying, compare the exact model and storage, confirm the seller’s local price and warranty, and check network-band compatibility if you intend to use the phone outside India. For OPPO, verify that the listing is the Reno16 5G (CPH2865), not the separate Reno16c. The cited pages do not provide a comparative network-band table or establish a performance winner from processor names alone.
Which one should you choose?
