Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteThe India OPPO Reno16 5G (model CPH2865) has a smaller display, a more fully specified triple rear-camera system and a higher listed starting price than Nothing Phone (4b), but there is no verified same-market price comparison: Nothing’s UK page shows a UK price, while its India page does not expose one. The comparison below uses the India Reno16 5G and identifies regional differences in Nothing’s specifications rather than treating either product name as a single global configuration.
Which models are being compared?
“OPPO Reno16” refers to a series, not one universal specification. The figures below are for OPPO India’s Reno16 5G, model CPH2865. It is distinct from the Reno16c 5G (CPH2859); OPPO says models, specifications and prices vary outside India. Check the model number and local listing before applying this comparison to a phone sold in another market. OPPO India’s Reno16 details and its global Reno16 series announcement provide the company’s market qualifications.

How do the displays and cameras differ?
Display size
Nothing Phone (4b) has the larger listed display: 6.77 inches versus 6.32 inches on the India Reno16 5G. Both are listed at up to 120Hz, although Nothing describes its refresh rate as adaptive. OPPO supplies the Reno16’s FHD+ resolution in the cited detail page; the cited Nothing material does not state a resolution, so size and refresh rate are the firm comparison points here.
Rear-camera hardware
OPPO specifies three 50MP rear cameras for its India Reno16: a stabilized main camera, an ultra-wide and a stabilized telephoto with 3.5× optical zoom. Nothing’s official information confirms a stabilized 50MP main camera and a 119-degree ultra-wide, but does not establish a telephoto camera. That means OPPO’s published India specification is more detailed and includes a named telephoto module; it does not, by itself, prove better image quality.

Selfies and video
OPPO’s India launch announcement describes a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera for the India series and Reno16 4K 60fps HDR video across three focal lengths. Nothing’s official Phone (4b) material lists a 16MP front camera, 4K recording and dual-video capture. These are manufacturer-described capabilities, not evidence that one phone produces better video or selfies in real use. See OPPO’s India launch announcement and Nothing’s UK product page.

What is the price difference?
A reliable direct price difference cannot be calculated from the verified figures because they are not from the same market. OPPO India lists two Reno16 5G configurations and prices, while Nothing’s UK listing is priced in pounds and its India product page does not expose a price in the reviewed content.

Battery capacity, charging and durability
Battery
OPPO lists 6,700mAh typical capacity and 6,490mAh rated capacity for the India Reno16 5G, along with 80W SUPERVOOC charging. Nothing’s official product-page content gives Phone (4b) a 6,000mAh battery in India and 5,200mAh in general-market specifications. These capacity figures do not establish which phone lasts longer: endurance depends on usage and other factors, and the cited sources provide no comparable battery test. Nothing calls Phone (4b) “our longest-lasting phone yet”; that is the company’s marketing claim, not an independent comparison.

Ingress protection
OPPO lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K for its India Reno16 5G; Nothing lists IP64 for Phone (4b). These ratings describe specified ingress-protection classifications, not a shared real-world durability test. They should not be read as a guarantee against damage or as proof of how either phone will fare in a particular accident. Source specifications: OPPO India and Nothing India.

- Flexible TPU Protection - Injection-moulded TPU is light, easy to install and helps cushion daily bumps.
- Large Camera Window - Raised camera border helps reduce lens contact with desks and flat surfaces.
- Silver or White Leather-Look - Two clean finishes for a simple, refined phone back style.
- Slim Daily Cover - Smooth edges and steady grip make it suitable for work, travel and everyday use.
Nothing’s official product material also promotes Essential AI tools and the Glyph Bar. Treat these as product features rather than a measure of speed or value; the cited sources do not provide a direct software-support comparison between the phones. Nothing’s product-page disclosures include a 54.7 kg CO₂e product carbon footprint and packaging described as more than 99% plastic-free. Those are manufacturer disclosures, not independent lifecycle verification. Nothing India product page.
Which phone makes more sense?
- Consider the India Reno16 5G if you want the specifically listed 3.5× optical telephoto camera, 80W charging, a higher stated ingress-protection classification, or 256GB storage in the listed India configurations.
- Consider Nothing Phone (4b) if a larger 6.77-inch display, its listed Glyph Bar and Essential AI tools, or the 8GB+128GB configuration better fits your priorities. Check the price and battery specification for your country.
- Do not choose on an assumed performance or battery-life winner. Nothing’s cited product information does not identify the precise Snapdragon model, and no independent head-to-head benchmark or battery test is established here.
For a purchase decision, first confirm the exact model and market, then compare local prices at the same storage tier. The available information supports a hardware-spec comparison, but not a definitive overall winner or a same-market price gap.
