The POVA 8 Pro has the larger stated screen and higher refresh-rate ceiling: TECNO lists a 6.78-inch panel capable of 144Hz, compared with OPPO India’s 16.74cm (about 6.59-inch) panel and maximum 120Hz. A higher refresh rate can allow supported content and interactions to update more often, but these figures alone do not establish which screen looks better. The listed resolutions and pixel densities also differ, and a matched assessment of brightness, color and other image characteristics is not available here.

Camera comparison: Reno15 adds a telephoto camera
On paper, the Reno15 offers more rear-camera flexibility: its specification lists wide, telephoto and ultrawide cameras, while TECNO lists a 50MP OIS main camera and an 8MP ultrawide. OPPO also lists a 50MP front camera with a 100° field of view; TECNO lists a 13MP front camera. These are hardware and resolution claims, not proof of better photographs. Image quality depends on more than megapixel counts, and no independent matched photo test is established here.

Chipsets
OPPO lists the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 with Adreno 722 graphics; TECNO lists the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate with Mali-G615 MC2. The named platforms identify what each manufacturer specifies, but do not establish a performance winner without comparable testing.

OPPO said sales would begin on 13 January 2026 through Amazon, Flipkart, mainline retail outlets and its e-store. The TECNO specification page does not state a price, and no current seller price for a matching POVA 8 Pro configuration was verified, so there is no defensible numeric price gap to report. Prices and availability can differ by country, retailer and storage tier; compare current local listings for the same market and configuration before deciding.
