Specifications are manufacturer-listed rather than results from hands-on testing. In particular, screen size and refresh rate do not establish which display looks better, and matching 50MP front-camera counts do not show that the cameras produce equal images. The IP and durability designations also should not be read as a promise that a phone cannot be damaged.

Which phone has the better display and performance specifications?
Motorola: larger, faster-refreshing screen
Motorola specifies a 6.8-inch display with a refresh rate up to 144Hz, compared with Reno15’s 6.59-inch 120Hz panel. That makes the Edge 70 Pro the more compelling specification-led choice for shoppers who want a bigger screen or a higher listed refresh rate. The figures alone cannot settle visibility, colour, brightness or overall display quality.
Motorola: higher-tier listed chipset and faster storage generation
The Edge 70 Pro lists the Dimensity 8500 Extreme and UFS 4.1 storage. Reno15 lists the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and UFS 3.1. These labels distinguish the hardware, but they are not a substitute for testing the apps and workloads that matter to you.

91mobiles reported Geekbench multi-core scores of 6,864 for the Edge 70 Pro and 4,200 for Reno15 in a comparison accessed on 7 October 2026. The cited extract does not identify the original benchmark report, test conditions or matching software versions, so treat those numbers as secondary-reported figures, not a controlled head-to-head result.
How do the cameras differ?
Reno15’s listed rear setup includes a 50MP telephoto camera alongside its 50MP main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide. Motorola lists a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 main camera with OIS and a 50MP autofocus ultrawide with macro, but its cited specification page does not list a telephoto camera. If a dedicated telephoto lens matters for zoom or portrait framing, Reno15 has the clearer specification advantage.

A 91mobiles price snapshot accessed on 7 October 2026 showed Reno15 at ₹49,990 on Amazon and Edge 70 Pro 5G at ₹39,999 on Flipkart. How to make a fair price comparison
- Choose the same RAM and storage configuration where both phones offer it. For example, compare 12GB + 256GB listings rather than Reno15’s 512GB model against Motorola’s 256GB model.
- Check each listing’s current price, seller, availability and any conditions such as bank offers or exchange discounts directly with the retailer.
- Record the date and calculate the difference only after confirming the two prices apply to comparable configurations and terms.
Which phone should you choose?
Choose OPPO Reno15 if
- You want the listed 50MP telephoto camera for the flexibility of a dedicated telephoto lens.
- You need an officially listed 12GB + 512GB configuration.
- You prefer its stated 80W charging and 6.59-inch 120Hz display specifications.
Choose Motorola Edge 70 Pro if
- You want the larger 6.8-inch screen with a listed refresh rate up to 144Hz.
- You prioritize the listed Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor and UFS 4.1 storage.
- You value Motorola’s stated commitment of up to three years of OS upgrades and security patches.
- You want the listed 90W wired charging and 5W wired reverse charging.
For a budget-led decision, use current, same-configuration retailer prices rather than comparing a launch price with a changing offer. Neither the battery capacity nor the camera specifications alone establish which phone performs better in real-world use.
